1st time to come here food was lovely, staff were very friendly and polite and prices are good, will definitely be coming again very soon

Friday evening, three pints of brain’s SA gold, the best beer in Caerphilly, where I’ve been drinking for 50 years. At £3.35 a pint it’s good value. The rump steak was so tender you could cut it with the edge of the fork.pleasant surroundings and the staff first class

Was there last Friday not been here for a very long time it was a quick stop pint.Ended up having a meal top marks for a very delicious meal.Keep up the good food will be back very soon.

I've lived close to this pub for 10yrs but never really eaten or had a drink here until recently when new management took over. We had been for a long walk and decided to call in and check it out... we were not disappointed. Staff really lovely, lovely little beer garden to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink (or 3) and couldn't fault the food or prices. Definitely going to make our visits more often now :)

Don't bother..food is not cooked properly and won't replace or refund...not the best customer service. Make sure you book or you won't get served..disgraceful.

The new management are really turning this place around. The staff are lovely and the food is very good, also like the new food menu and the choices it has on it. Having the quiz night on a Tuesday really livens up this pub bringing the community together. Definitely recommend going here whether it’s for food, just a social gathering or to play the quiz. Thank you for your hard work and changing this pub around for the best.

We were a bit sceptical going here because its always been hit and miss depending on who management are. The new management, staff and chefs are all amazing.The food was incredible, Extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. The waiting times were all spot on and the service was on point. We went in on a weekend and it wasn't to busy but still had good positive atmosphere which was probably down to the brilliant service all round.I would highly recommend giving this a go if you're looking for good pub food and good service.

Have good look at the outside of the building it dirty. Windows need a good clean the entrance to the building needs a good clean.What happened to this pub don't management look at this pub. The less said about food the better. Please bring back my local pub
