Fantastic food, excellent prices, staff are friendly

Came here for Sunday lunch over Jubilee weekend. Everything cooked nicely and plenty of vegetables. Gravy is exceptional. Will definitely return.

My friends and I ate at the Smiths last night .There were 8 of us and can honestly say the food was absolutely awful. Every meal had something wrong with it.Steak was cold,Scampi was overcooked and dry,curry was tasteless, fish was nothing but batter,peas were stone cold and the mixed salad was lettuce leaves and chopped peppers.I don't know how to describe the mushrooms other than dried out fungi. I would not recommend this place for a meal .

Fab night worth a night out worth a visit , friendly staff and people first time visted for my sister in law birthday

We each have our own opinion over this beautiful pub dinner but ever since the new owner has taken over my family and my place here after 17 years is no longer welcomed my place was taken from me back last year. Every birthday meal, every family event, the memories made iin here n this very pub go long before 17 years with my family, but the new owner stole it from me for when I tried to be the good guy stopping a fight outside. He rang the police, he blamed me for the fight. I tried apologizing when I wasn't supposed to. I fought my case though the owner refused when I requested him nicely to check CCTV footage. From not wanting to prove me right he has stopped 20+ years of family tradition.My family are ashamed.Going to be missing the Smiths with the previous owners 😟

Brilliant place. We enjoyed a Sunday dinner absolutely beautiful and only £7.50 the meat was cooked to perfection. Deserts £3.99. This place is definitely somewhere I highly recommend a visit.

Only been for Sunday Lunch and one of the best in our area. Really like home cooked roast and gravy is delicious 😋 Recommend to anyone not been for a while due to Covid but will be going regularly in the future . Nice pub with excellent staff too definitely worth a try but book first.

Absolute cracker of a pub, beautiful inside and out. Lovely beer garden and outside summerhouse. Excellent food served.
