Sunday roast was good beef really tender,I would like to gave had a roasted parsnip and the meal could have been hotter. I would suggest the plates be hotter.

Best Pub Food we have had for ages !! Found the pub by chance and just decided to call in lunchtime. Highly recommended had the nicest Steak & Ale Pie ever and chips just I like them. Mrs had Scampi which again was good and huge portion. Reasonably priced pub food and will definitely be returning probably a few times also friendly Landford so a good find by chance.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. I cannot recommend highly enough having attended for a family lunch today 21/01/22. Great value for money. Thank you again especially to the young man who looked after our table.

How this place has such good reviews I’ll never know. Possibly locals who are happy with the cheap prices.Me and my partner had a meal here recently. The dining area at the back of the pub was more like a cafe than a cosy pub (like the front), with pine tables and no atmosphere. The food:My chicken curry was clearly made from a jar or packet of curry sauce, boil in the bag or microwave rice, and anaemic real chips. My husband said that his sausage and mash wasn’t good, and that the mash tasted powdery. When your cooking is way better, you know you’ve come to the wrong place.Had the prices been higher I would have complained.Won’t be returning.
