Wahaca Cardiff in Caerphilly

Had a good dinner with delicious cocktails! The pork tacos were very tasty, however I found the meat filling to be a little dry. The fish tacos on the other hand were extremely crispy, while being moist and flaky on the inside! Definitely one of the best fish tacos I’ve had. The guacamole was fresh and helped to cut through the richness of the tacos, although a little more salt wouldn’t hurt. Lastly, the crispy cauliflower pieces were very crisp, however they were rather too tasty for its own good. Nonetheless, the service was excellent!

Lovely food, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Seated immediately even though we were early and drinks arrived quickly.

Simply Brilliant. Never eaten Mexican food before. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food was exceptional. Service was on point. Already recommending this place to everyone I know.

Pretty decent food but a real shame that there was no hot sauce on the table. It could have made it much better!

Had a great meal there with my daughters. It was very busy but they managed to fit us in. Food excellent. Will certainly be going again. Mojito rather good

Visited here for the first time today. We love Mexican food so thought we'd give it a try. We had the Mexico city nachos to start along with a mohito. We then ordered the classics from the set menu, a nice variety of both meat and vegetarian dishes. I wouldn't usually order vegetarian options but was surprised how nice they were. Fished off with a round of churos with dips, super tasty.Service was fast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wanted to try the great sounding selection of tequilas and mezcal but had to leave it for another day. Will be in Cardiff again on the weekend so will probably try then.Would definitely recommend 👌🏼

This place was absolutely amazing!!! Got to try a variety of tacos which were all full of flavour 😋 actually remembered to take photos before we got stuck in too . Highly recommend👌

The great flavour of Mexican Food served in a relaxed environment.The vegatarian selection was varied with some amazing flavours, it won't be long until I am back.

Had dinner here and it was lovely. A few vegan options so very accommodating. I had the mushroom enchiladas and mushroom tacos which were tasty, my partner had the burrito which looked delicious (I was jealous). Mojito was good too, and they have plenty of seating

Such delicious food, each dish perfectly flavoured, seasoned, and portioned. Would recommend 3 tapas size dishes per person, and also thoroughly recommend the vegetarian dishes even to meat eaters. Drinks were fantastic too; staff were attentive (but not pestering), knowledgeable and pleasant; and allergies were well catered for with allergen menu and trained manager to take allergy orders. Overall, would definitely recommend!
