Wong's in Caerphilly

We have always had food from wongs for years and the food is always awesome 👏 but tonight meal was amazing I just love onions and today they was the best onions Iv ever had don’t no what you cooked them in but wow thank you 😊

Thought I’d try this Chinese out as I use others in Blackwood, I’m comparing this to my local Chinese I use so keep that in mind, food was piping hot which is always a good start, taste wise it was nice but compared to others portions were smaller and no offers by spending a certain amount e.g my regular Chinese give you prawn crackers, or poppodoms or spring rolls etc depending on how much you spend which was disappointed considering I spent just under £40, think I’ll stick to what I know

Potion’s small no prawn crackers sauce curry and barbecue was really watery

Meal was very tasty piping hot will use Wongs again. Highly recommend the crispy beef in chilli sauce and bean sprout chow mein.

Food was good but even after telephone order there was a 20min wait

Tried wongs at the start of lock down and I must say it's the best Chinese I've ever had and I've been to many. It is a collection service which I prefer and everytime I've ordered from there the food is piping hot! The portions are very generous and the young chap on the counter works extremely hard. They food is spot on 10/10 and by far the best Chinese around. I look forward to the weekend just to have a Chinese.

I've been here a few times now, a big draw back is that they only take cash no other methods of payment introduced even in the pandemic, unfortunately the last meal I had there last week wasn't as tasty as others I've had there in the past even though it was the same meal, I will probably only go there if I've no other choice as I don't carry cash and I like my food tasty all the time.

Wongs is a regular Saturday night treat for us we've loved the food for many years and it's always very good don't be confused by the negative reviews it's the finest Chinese you'll have to travel far to beat it
