Ye Olde Royal Oak in Caerphilly

Been here once before for drinks, lovely place and lovely staff! Came back today for Sunday lunch which was delicious! Highly recommend!

Food as always excellent, if you like Thai food you must give it a try. Very good mix of food all excellent staff always friendly and helpful.

A beautiful Sunday lunch plenty to eat and the home maid gravy is is on a level we will be back

Food here was fantastic, a classic pub with Thai inspired food, an unlikely yet well matched pairing. Portion sizes were phenomenal and great value for money. Staff were efficient and friendly. The pub still retains its classic charms and has thankfully not been converted to a gastro pub.

We eat here as a family about 1-2 times a month. The food is very good. We have never eaten a bad meal here. They offer a Thai, an English and a childrens menu. They also know do a Sunday lunch! A very traditionalpub, we always feel comfortable here. The staff are friendly.They don't serve food all day, but you can search online for the hours that they do! Nings homemade spring rolls and pork balls are a must try!Although they don't have a cocktail menu the drink selection is pretty good. They definitely offer the best draught ales choice out of the other pubs in Ystrad Mynach.8
