We walked 20 minutes here from Mercure hotel in Cardiff, it is a very welcoming cafe. You are seated professionally like a restaurant, the service was excellent.Modern decor with a traditional twist. The menu size was perfect with good options.Only minor downside maybe the plates were too big but it looked like they were trying fill the plate and so spread the food out. The food quality was good, very tasty. The prices are slightly higher than elsewhere.The smoothies were amazing !!Will definitely come back.

Was encouraged to enter by a satisfied customer who simply uttered "do it" as she was leaving. How could I ignore such a clear endorsement? Quick and friendly service, topped off by a cracking Set Breakfast.

Worth the 10 minute wait for a table, I am a glass half full kinda guy.....however from coming to going a great experience. 👍 now a favourite in my maps app.

Fairly overpriced for the quality of ingredients.Despite the speed of it coming to my table, half of it was cold and portion sizes were quite small.Eggs overcooked. And for some reason they feel the need to put everything in separate little bowls on the plate..Very average coffee.Friendly staffWill not go again unfortunately

Food was okay, although my bacon was rock solid. Coffee was cold. Portions very small. I felt overpowered & harassed by the staff while eating. They were hovering over the table and clearing plates before We had finished

This a cracking little local independent cafe. I happened across it by happy accident on a Sunday afternoon and am very pleased to have done so. The portions and ingredient proportions are generous and delicious - I had eaten the cheese on toast before it dawned on me to do a photo and review. Very friendly as well - I will return and would recommend. It’s also open longer hours and more days than many of the other Wellfield Road options.

Lovely food, friendly, helpful service, clean and tidy place. Reasonable too. Hubby always gets a huge brekky and he really enjoys it, but equally, if you only want a coffee, or a small bite, the lovely people who work there are happy to serve you with that too.

Very welcoming cafe. Looked perfect for what we were after. Modern but with a traditional twist. Good size menu. Not bad but something wasn't quite right....coffee was a little cold, maybe the plates were too big but it looked like they were trying fill the plate and so spread the food out. Would recommend dropping the paninis and going for pancakes or waffles for the sweet tooths...not bad but didn't match up to expectations.

Brilliant. Independently owned and far far better quality food than the chain of Loungers (Juno lounge) down the road. Very very friendly staff and a homely feeling when you're talking to them. Lovely people, great business
