Bill's in Cardiff

Book so you’re not disappointed.We visited on a Sunday morning and the place was full, a couple of people waiting for a table at the door also. Luckily we’d booked and were sat down relatively quickly. The menu sounded delicious and they didn’t mind when I ordered the big breakfast & asked for poached eggs instead of fried and some hollandaise with it.The staff were friendly and efficient. The food came out surprisingly quick considering how busy it was and it was incredible. Great quality and quantity. I love Bills anyway but first time visiting the Cardiff branch and I’ll go back again. And again…

Service was really good. Waitress was super sweet and helpful. The place was comfortable to sit in. I sat outside in the arcade area. They had heaters set up there. The food was okay. I wasn’t very impressed. It tasted a bit bland to me but nothing too horrible. Not bad experience. Would go again to try a different dish.

Absolutely amazing.. I would highly recommend the seabass curry and the calamari. But the star of the show was Bella our waitress, she made the whole experience perfect. So friendly and went above and beyond for us. If I owned a restaurant I'd be hiring her! Great night 👌🏻

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Cardiff. We were greeted by a very nice server and seated quickly.Courses and drinks came very quickly and we're of a good standard.I believe everything is slightly over priced but it was tasty. My only small criticism is that we were seated by the Till at what I assume is shift change so there was a lot of staff essentially on our shoulders. So I wouldn't sit there again.

We went for Valentines Day day and the set menu was so good! I was really impressed that there was a vegan option for all 3 courses and that they were incredibly tasty. First time we've been there for dinner but will definitely be back.

Having read several articles which referred going to Bill's as a must, decided to take the plunge and go there for our first meal while visiting Cardiff. Went to the one in Wyndham Arcade. Needless to say it didn’t disappoint. The decor, the service and the food were simply amazing. Kudos to them in making the patrons feel welcome. Also, lots of praises to Antonia who waited on us. She was extremely helpful, and her recommendations were brilliant. Started with the Devilled chicken skewers then had the fish pie as mains. We also had the x-mas burger as mains and then finally finished off with triple chocolate brownie for desserts. Everything was done so well, and the quality was amazing. Definitely a great place to go and have a good time. Especially the warmth and friendliness just added to the whole experience.

The restaurant is very good decorated and it’s staffs are friendly.Regarding the food, I visited the restaurant on the morning to have my breakfast there. I ordered pancake and black coffee. The coffee arrived before the pancake and it got cold waiting for the pancake. When pancake arrived was very good looking and nice taste but I think it was not freshly baked.Table was not cleaned very well and it was sticky !!

Nice outdoor seating and welcoming waiters. Seemed like a good bet. Had to sit outside because we had the dog with us. When I asked for a dog bowl, was told they only had 1 and it was being used by another dog. Waitress was lovely and helpful but the wait times were long for all courses. The cutlery and crockery was a little grubby and nobody wore masks. Maybe that is normal for cardiff now, I don't know. We ate the nachos sharing plate which was quite interesting. My vegetarian soulbowl was soulless and tasteless. Apparently the burger was very edible but the minute steaks and chips were disappointing. Bills in London was really good so I was disappointed with this one. Nothing to recommend except for location and friendly staff.

Really depends on your waiter and host, but we got lucky. I would have given 5 8d the kitchen staff hadn't messed up my Creme Tea order - which quickly fixed by my legendary waiter - Tomek. The strawberry sugar donuts with white chocolate were yummy though
