Ordered crispy shredded beef which was soggy and tasted horrible. Also the salt and pepper chicken was bland and chewy. Chow Mein was pretty good though.

After trying nearly all Chinese takeaways Blue Star is hands down the best yet! Even my parents and son recommend! Food is soo good and delivery times are even better. Keep up the good work

Ordered a substantial take away this evening for the first time from this take away. Special F/R, Egg F/R, Chicken Chow/M, Pancake Roll, Curry Sauce and Prawn Crackers. £23 60 incl del.So what was it like? Well it was extremely greasy for a start, particularly the Pancake roll. The roll was poorly put together, with a small amount of filling consisting of a few bean sprouts and a sparce few bits of ham, I think? Very poor, what happened to the chopped onion, chicken and pork then??? As for the Chicken Chow Mein, Noodles and some Bean sprouts and sliced onion with a tiny bit of Chicken thrown in, a poor show! Special F/R , nothing special about this, two small slices of Chicken on the top (to make it look good I guess) and two tiny pieces of sliced pork (not the Char Sui I was expecting) as should be the case. The rest of the dish consisted of mushy rice, a few shrimps, scrambled egg, some chopped onion and no fried egg on the top which, is essential in a Special F/R and no sauce topping either!!The Egg F/R was passable, only just.Curry was ok as were the Prawn crackers.Portion sizes were average to small.So then, on to the score out of 5 stars, all things considered -A struggling *Overpriced, poor quality and not good value overall.Would I go back? Not if it were free.

Best service in the Splott area. Lovely family run business. The lovely lady there will be missed as she was always warm and friendly.The food is super, the set meals with chicken balls and half n half are amazing value.

Family run takeaway. Spotlessly clean. Tasty Chinese cuisine. Can order and collect or they will deliver. Lovely, lovely people. My favourite place for food. Reasonably priced. You must try this for yourselves.
