Bubblebase Ltd in Cardiff

Very interesting place to go for a drink. They let you create your own bubble tea with a choice of various bubbles and a choice of various flavours of drinks. There is usually a new flavour everytime i go there and the snacks are not bad either.

Just went to bubblebase with my partner in Cardiff, happy to try it out. It looked like it had plenty of great choices, though now that I have my tea, it's not as good as I would have expected it after waiting for such a long time. There were three people on the job, and a big queue, so you would think that the workers were, you know, working? The whole process was really slow and only one guy seemed to actually do stuff. Once the people in front of us ordered, the other two women went to fill the cups with the toppings, whilst talking about something (unrelated to their job of course), ignoring me completely for about two or three minutes. Finally, I ordered and so did my partner (no problems there, imagine that!) After that my partner turned to me and said "is she seriously on her phone?" And there she was - stood in front of the toppings looking at her phone, whilst chatting to the other girl (rather than taking orders.) The guy made our drinks and I realised that mine wasn't what I ordered (honest mistake, it happens.) What I was really fascinated to see is the annoyed look on one of the girl's face when I so unkindly interrupted their important conversation to ask for my order to be changed.Overall, I really wish the drinks were worth the 10-15 minutes that we spent waiting, or rather I wish I went somewhere else. Every time I went to Queens Arcade I was wondering why the queue is always so big, and now I know - because of the inefficient staff doing everything except bubble tea.

We waited for a considerable amount of time when the staff did everything but their job. The drinks themselves were not very good - one sickly sweet and one sour, and the service was pretty awful. Staff looked annoyed when questioned about an order they got wrong and took forever to make orders, mostly because one guy was doing the whole job whilst the other two women were stood doing nothing.

I love bubble tea, I've been drinking it for years. This bubble tea shop is a good one because you can mix two flavours and is decent value too. And the staff always cater to my deafness so well. Plus there is an app where you can order while walking to it and when you get there, it's ready. Delicious!

Same prices as anywhere else that sells bubble tea! Lovely staff and tonnes of options

My first experience trying bubble tea after a recommendation at work - absolutely loved it and the staff were incredibly patient and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

AMAZING store, I've been going literally since they opened and I haven't found any boba places that are even close to as good as Bubblebase. So many flavours and combinations, and the staff are always so friendly and patient. Thanks for the years of hard work guys, keep it up ❤

I have been coming here for years but recently the quality of drinks and customer service has gone down hill. For example, the last two times I have been they have got my order wrong twice and thats never happened. Today there was a girl with red hair behind the till and I specifically asked for my drinks warm. She served them to me cold and then said, "Does it make a difference because otherwise I'd have to make the drinks again?" Yes it does make a difference because I paid £8 for the drinks!! The tapioca isn't as fresh as it used to be either. It wasn't even busy, Wednesday morning at 11:30ish) and I was the only customer waiting.The time before that there were two girls and I literally timed it and had to wait 15 minutes for two drinks. I'm not even joking.Sadly, the time has come for Bubble Base and I to depart after many years, until the customer service improves drastically. Honestly I felt like an inconvenience. Don't fancy paying £8 to be spoken to like that and for mediocre customer service any longer.

They have variety of drinks. Tapioca pearls are fresh all the time. Customer service is really good. Absolutely love this place's bubble teas

The bubble tea is amazing! They give you loads of bubbles and they have a wide range of flavours to choose from! Would Highly recommend!! Best Bubble tea shop in Cardiff!!
