Burger King in Cardiff

Enjoyed the new vegan options, even though I'm not a vegan. Better than McDonald's hands down.

Came here for a bite to eat after a long day shopping. Got asked to wait for our food in the parking bay. As I am waiting for our food the worker approached our car and proceeded to drop the food on the floor,pick it up walk over to my car and try give me the food. I said i will not take the food as it was dropped on the floor. He then tried to make me take the food and said it was fine. Btw I'm a pregnant lady so good job Burger King trying to give me dirty floor food👍

I would not advise visiting this establishment unless you are prepared to face a hefty price for damaged tires. There are significant deep potholes at the entrance and exit points of this establishment. They are not visibly marked and there are no caution signs to warn customers upon their arrival or exit. In addition I was Informed by a friend who had visited this particular eating establishment three months ago that the potholes were also there upon her visit (I very much doubt that I am the first Or will be the last customer to complain about this issue). Aside from the the unsafe entrance and exit points, the wait at the drive-through was far too long despite their only been 2 customers ahead of me. The food was Lukewarm & my burger was stale as though it had been sat on the heating plate for quite some time. The outside of the burger wrapper was stuck to a piece of melted stale cheese. One of the drive-through windows was cluttered with Cardboard boxes piled high this was off putting & appeared generally disorganised. I definitely would not visit here again and I wouldn’t either recommend it to others. I have eaten at Burger King multiple times over various different locations and Never had a problem but my visit to Newport road was very poor.

Not like other Burger Kings I have visited.Apparently if you are paying by card here you now have to use the screens not a person behind the counter. Left without purchasing anything.What happened to customer service?

Waited over a hour for our food if I hadn't have paid by card at the self service I would have left ..No fault of the guys there being as there were only 2 of them working that night having to deal with the drive through to..

It's was super quite inside only 3 customers staff didn't talk to anyone even when giving people their food just left it on the counter and walked off, first for me in any restaurant, muddy foot prints on some of the tables. Just seems like no one wanted to be there.

Terrible experience at the drive through! The staff were so unprofessional. The girl who took our order couldn't be less interested, so rude. Got the order wrong as well. She then started laughing/screaming hysterically and the line went quiet. When she came back and composed herself we ordered some vegan nuggets (after just ordering 2 vegan katsu royales) but as we drove off to go to the window we noticed it said "chicken nuggets"We asked the guy at the window whether she'd put chicken or vegan nuggets through and he said chicken so changed it. We told him about our awful ordering experience and he said he'd tell the manager (not sure if he did or not but he was definitely better than the girl).When we got home we'd been given one katsu royale and one plain which was wrong.

This is called a double melt meal seen kore cheese in a nose trap… waited ages to get through got to window then they didn’t have my order staff… shocking if you don’t want to work in BKing find another job I’ve seen week old lettuces with more Enthusiasm.then was charged £5.17 for a £4.99 meal was to tired to challenge just wanted to get served and out..

The bacon double cheeseburger meal was underwhelming. The bread was dry and almost twice as thick as the burger,which made it difficult to eat. The fries were hot and diet coke carbonated, but I can get fries and drink anywhere. I came for the burger. Also, as I had not been in a long time, I did not realize they charged for bbq sauce as the larger competitor does not charge. Be aware that they WILL charge you another 20p on your card if you specifically forget to order it. The meal was more expensive than other options are as well that alsosel burgers via a drive-through. The person at the till was not friendly or welcoming. My wife and I had separate orders on our phones and we were told that we would have to drive around the building again, even though there was no one in the queue behind us. Again, the larger competitor does allow 2 orders per vehicle. I thought it would be nice to try Burger King again as I loved it when I lived in the US, but it is a very different and less enjoyable experience here, or at least the Newport Road, Cardiff location is.
