Caffe Nero - Roath in Cardiff

Nice location, friendly staff and decent coffee/snacks. The food’s good but a little pricey. Free WiFi.

They making good coffees but they've got sort stuff I think. Whenever I go there always keep me waiting. One stuff trying to do everything. Taking orders, making coffee, heating food and taking money. One stuff tidings up the tables.Yesterday I have been this branch. I has Belgian Chocolate Fudge Cake. It was very old. Cake was like a cement... I had the same cake day before on Queen Street, it was perfect and fresh.

Lovely pot of tea and coffee with a toasted teacake to die for.

This is the second time I went to this cafe, and the same rude lady served me with red hair. The first time I thought she was just having a bad day however I came in today too and she chucked the donut I brought in front of me. I understand people may not enjoy their job but there is no need on taking it out on customers.

It was okay, but they ran out of festive pasties!! So I wasn't amused my friend who's disabled was looking forward to having one. But the staff was pleasant enough though very helpful too and especially cleanliness was adered too 100%.

Nice place to get a coffee but a little while ago I applied for a job here and was about to meet the manager, however she cancelled the meet because the person who was leaving wasn't leaving anymore and I was under the impression that it was only a Christmas temp (which what the role was) so I wasn't sure how that was meant to affect the role. Also despite saying I was more than welcome to call back to clarify, she never answered me. No excuse not to.

It's a really lovely atmosphere with lots of little nooks to hide away in for a quiet coffee. The place always seems calmer and quieter than other nearby coffee shops. Cleaner too. I live nearby and sneak away here if I'm having a tough day. 😉

I love this place, really old chairs and very comfy sofas. Staff are always amazing and extremely helpful. The tea here is really nice as well, we always find it hard to enjoy nice tea when we drink out but Nero is very good. The fresh baked goodies on display I'd always a nice touch as well

Just off of the Albany Road this is a useful stop for a top up of caffeine. The offerings are standard for Café Nero but the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice ambiance, friendly staff and quick to serve. Would really recommend if you are a student and want a place to quietly complete some work.
