Calabrisella Cardiff in Cardiff

I could have sworn that I have reviewed this awesome place previously, so it speaks volumes on that front that I have just eaten here for the fourth time that I can recall.The atmosphere is wonderfully friendly and the food is fantastic. The English breakfast with Welsh ingredients in Italian style is a firm and consistent favourite , but anything on the menu is a good bet for delicious food.It’s only a desire to try new places and enjoy the excellent variety that Cardiff has to offer that prevents us from eating here more often.100% recommended. This review was for the Cathays location but we have tried the other restaurants as well and the quality is consistent.

Fantastic restaurant. The staff are absolutely superb, so attentive. The restaurant is vibrant, traditional, and feels authentic, from the Italian art and artifacture to the Italian music playing.The most important part of any restaurant is the food, and you will not be disappointed. The food is beautiful. The menu has so many great options for a wide variety of dietary requirements. The service is quick and efficient as it should be.This was my first time at Calabrisella, but certainly not the last

Came here because this place was highly recommend to use by one of our friends. I cannot possibly fault this restaurant. Service was amazing, food was superb and the wait time was nothing.Overall I'd recommend this place to everyone I know.

Really impressed! Good vegan pizza is hard to come by, all the nasty mainstream takeaways like Dominoes make them but hate their dough and tomato bases. This place was a real breath of fresh air. Clearly use high quality ingredients, dough is properly made and wood fired and they use a much better vegan cheese than other places I’ve been. Would return!

Had a delightful meal with my daughter, the staff were friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze us in despite not having a reservation. The food was fantastic, service was delightful. Will definitely go back next time we're in Cardiff, but will book beforehand!

I love visiting this restaurant. The service is great, the food is always amazing and presented so beautifully. The hot chocolate is thick, rich and very tasty. I’ve never had any problems visiting this venue and it’s definitely one of my favourite restaurants of all time!!

As an Italian born and raised this is the place to go for authentic Italian food. Excellent service Delish food. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my family and they all asked me to bring pizza home!! Really competitive prices too and lots of Italians frequenting too which is always a good sign. Really happy we found this gem!

The food was delicious! The pizza had fantastic ingredients, a wonderful tomato sauce and was baked in a real stone oven like in Italy. The pasta was refreshing and tasty, very well done! The pricing is not overexpensive, I am happy to visit this restaurant again to try other things.

Amazing, amazing food, ordered the signature fish sharing platter. Everything was cooked to perfection and so much food, they really don't hold back. Venue was cute and cosy and mostly service was spot on except for one waitress who was just rude in the way she dealt with me, perhaps a language barrier or a bad day or she didn't like my aftershave either way a large tip to remind her customer service should be priority. Hence the 4 star otherwise faultless.
