Coffee Rex in Cardiff

Fantastic little famy coffee shop with delicious home made pastries, all presented beautifully with friendly service.

Love this place, great value for money , good food and service

Some of the best coffee in Cardiff. Lovely fresh food. Staff are always cheerful and welcoming... Very dog friendly too. My dog can't wait to get in there.

Best coffee in Cardiff, delicious food especially the aubergine bake, scrummy cakes and a warm welcome x

Lovely little coffee shop with very friendly staff, toasted sandwich was yummy.

The owner is incredibly rude and aggressive. He made my wife a latte which was really disgusting to taste; she was well within her rights to take it back to have it replaced. The owner then proceeded to shout at her telling her how he paid good money for the drink and how dare she take it back. He threw the drink down and was extremely rude, aggressive and intimidating. My wife, close to tears, had to leave. The first rule in business is: ‘The customer is always right’.

As always greeted warmly. Food aways freshly made with quality ingredients. Specials written on board I had pulled pork wrap very nice. My friend had Aubergine bake, some dishes like this and Lasgne are available to take out. We had Almond cake and Apple cake for dessert delicious served with a little jug of cream. As usual always enjoyable visit.

Great little Italian café with good coffee and sandwiches, cakes and often some home made specials. Reasonable price and very friendly owner and staff.

Tasty food good coffee and friendly service.

Had a lovely jacket potato, brownie and flapjack. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and good covid regulations. Shame the toilet wasn't a bit bigger to change my baby.
