Cote Brasserie - Cardiff Bay in Cardiff

Great experience as usual. This visit was for our anniversary & the main server, Grace, was so lovely & engaging & welcomed us with Kir Royales. Lively atmosphere, good food served on warmed plates, we will definitely be back.

What a great place!Went here for a pre theatre meal with my sister and was bowled over! The food was good (a bit of salad or greens for the Steak Frites wouldn't go amiss, but the food was tasty)But the main reason for the high mark was the service - especially by Grace, who was really friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and endearing. She put us at easy and just deserves the highest praise for being so good at her job.

Stunning food, the tuna nicoise salad was extremely tasty! I also had hot chocolate for dessert which was delicious! Service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. The only problem was that it was very cold where we were sitting so we didn't take our jackets off but everything else was spot on!

I have been here twice now and for a chain restaurant it has a really high quality & intimate feel. The food has always been amazing but the stand out thing for me is the service. The staff here always go above and beyond what is expected to make you feel comfortable. A really enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend this place and be back again!

Two breakfasts in a row. Absolutely LOVED Cote for breakfast. What a fabulous spot to dine in Cardiff, especially after a hen weekend night out! Shout out to Melissa, our waitress for looking after us all weekend. Also my eggs were slightly not as I ordered them on the Sunday and my goodness, they turned it around by bringing me an entire fresh plate and it was on the house! Above and beyond my expectations. Perfect brekky & although VERY comfortable and easy on the eye interior design, it is super reasonably priced. 125% would recommend.

We went to this Cote in October 2021 and it was so busy. We were going to see the Book Of Mormon and this restaurant was close by. It seemed like everyone had the same idea as the place was packed!Everything was really good apart from the olives. The olives were quite mushy and the dark ones tasted a bit off. Other than that it was great.I had the crab maison to start and so did my girlfriend. It was very nice.For main I had the beef cheek bourguignon and my girlfriend had the mussels. Both of us were very happy with the food!They only serve bottled beer which I'm not a fan off, always prefer draught.But this restaurant is a good choice if you are going to Cardiff Bay or to see a show.

Lovely food with simple but effective presentation. Located on the bay next to the funfair. Plenty of choice of wholesome well cooked food. We went as a large group with children and were made very welcome and seated together. Service was unexpectedly outstanding and exceptionally friendly. We would love to go back!

The food here is of a high standard, served with pride and care by the amazing staff. They asked about allergies and took every avenue to advise ingredients and alternative dishes where necessary. Honestly it's one of the most pleasant dining experiences I've had in a long time and one I would be happy to partake in again.
