Frankies in Cardiff

Great pizzas and delicious garlic bread,, also the chef loves hard rock whick is also the cherry on top :)

I found this little Italian restaurant by chance.Was waiting at the traffic lights and so that they were doing Vegan Pizza.We stopped and ordered a "chicken" and "Chorizo" pizza with Vegan cheese and some Began Garlic breadIt was really good 🙂Will definitely go back

This pizza was excellent and as an added bonus, the cook/owner were quite lovely! Pizza was some of the most authentic Italian that I have had in Cardiff. Will definitely be going again.

It’s not often I come on here to write reviews, but frankies surely deserved it. There are some bad reviews on here but during my experience, none of these were true. The owner Mr G was the nicest Italian man. He was chirpy and had a lovely chit chat with me. Despite the current covid pandemic, we managed to get a table inside. All the staff had masks on and there were bottles of hand sanitiser on all the tables. Frankies is just a small little shop but it shouldn’t be underestimated. Me and my wife had a meal for two for just 21 pounds. It included 2 pizzas of your choice, garlic bread and two soft drinks. It was a true bargain. It fed us both and we still had some leftovers. I had the margarita and it was delicious, plenty of cheese and tomato, dough which was cooked to perfection. It truly was an authentic Italian pizza. My Wife had the frankies which had spinach and Parma ham. It was loaded with toppings. The table was nice and warm and was very cozy to stay in.

Really great pizza. Proper Italian base and sauce, perfectly cooked. Brilliant for vegans too.

Been here many times and never fails to provide high quality food and service. True authentic Neapolitan pizza. This is my go-to takeaway for any occasion. Very cheap and affordable. Ignore all the bad reviews as they are not the case! Best pizzas I've ever eaten. Highly recommended for anyone!

My absolute favourite pizza in Cardiff!I've lived in Cardiff since 2011 and have tried many different takeaway pizzas. I can say with absolute certainty that no other place I have tried beats Frankie's.The pizza base is delicious, light and full of flavour, and the topping are high quality, not too much cheese or sauce.The sides, although smaller in quantity than some places, are not greasy, and are so tasty! They clearly put a lot of time into the recipe for the flavouring of the chicken goujons.Really friendly drivers as well.I'll always come back to Frankie's :D

Just ordered for my birthday! Best Calzone pizza I’ve had in years! And the cheesecake - some sort of lemon meringue cheesecake was amazing😃😃. Highly recommend!

Best pizza in Cardiff for me. Gino (the owner) is so passionate about food and his pizzas are authentic and amazing. One of our best treats. Do them a favour, ring direct and collect!

First time ordering from Frankies tonight which is always a risk isn’t it... we weren’t disappointed!We fancied pasta and weren’t sure where to get it as a takeaway in Cardiff so took a punt of Frankies. Food arrived on time, piping hot and quality was exceptional! Had Carbonara and Genovese pasta, bruschetta and garlic bread and it was all absolutely delicious, will definitely be ordering again. Great job! *****
