I just simply love this place. The staff are always friendly, lovely atmosphere and such a good lasagne! :)

An excellent meal at Svargo last night. The menu is extensive, the food was delicious and served piping hot. The portions are a good size and it’s excellent value for money. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is spotlessly clean. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I would highly recommend and will definately be returning

This was mine and my families favourite restaurant when it first opened and over the last couple of years spent a lot of money here. The staff where always lovely and very helpful however the last couple of times we have attended, the service has gone down hill, the manager is not friendly or helpful any longer. Very disappointed and for this reason we will never use this restaurant again. Her response says it all!! Very unprofessional and sad! When my son asked for an extra piece of chicken you charged him £10.00 , however he could have bought an extra meal for 12.00. The following time my daughter ordered a linguine and when that arrived was made with peas... you didn't even come and apologise or offer a replacement!! Your reply just shows how badly you are now running this little restaurant and to say your are glad we won't be coming back is absolutely childish and so unprofessional.

What an amazing evening. Lovely welcome and atmosphere for Valentines day. Staff were lovely & friendly always ensuring everyone was looked after. Then there was the food which was a real treat. Starters, main course and dessert all a perfectly balanced taste explosion which didn't disappoint at all. But I have to save the best til last - the garlic bread!! Amazing probably the best I've had. The great surprise was the value of it all. I trialed through the bill when it came convinced a course was missing but it was all there. Definitely will be back soon.

I came here for my birthday meal. The menu caters nicely for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The waitresses were friendly and the chef was amazing. I ordered the Chickpea ravioli, amazing! Wish I could go here again!

The dining hall is very elegantly decorated. The menu offers a variety of main dishes. The sides offered for starters are the best I have tried so far in the UK, very tasty making you craving for more. The mains were perfectly cooked and the plates had just the right amount. The desserts we had were all freshly made and balanced in terms of sweetness. The service was quick, especially considering the high number of customers at the time, and the stuff was very polite and happy to address our questions on the menu.

Popping in here for a meal with the family and it was brilliant. Lovely staff and the food was top quality.I had a burger which was perfect down to the soft bun and I also tried the lasagne which just melted in my mouth! Before leaving though, I visited the bathroom and... the ceiling was a good crack to look at, nearly didn't even see it.. I had to take a picture. Thanks a lot guys, definitely will visit again!

Delicious food and very friendly service! They made us up a vegetarian antipasti plate despite it not being on the menu, and the starters and pizzas were delicious, and the perfect amount of food!!

Excellent food and a varied menu. The aranci balls to start were amazing! Staff were lovely and the decor/atmosphere very pleasant. The cocktail list was impressive and the quality was superb (so good that we went back for drinks only one evening). 2for1 cocktail happy hour between 5-7 (Tues to Thurs) and an early bird deal til 6.30 make this place one of the best value restaurants in Cardiff.

I’ve visited this Svago Italian once and I absolutely love the food at this place. I had the pasta with shaved nuts. I wasn’t too sure about them when I ordered them, however when I tasted them they were amazing. The service is also good, and the place is nice and cosy. The prices are fairly similar to other Italian restaurants and quantity is also good. I’m looking forward to my next visit here and it is one my favorite Cardiff Restaurants.
