The small, intimate and relaxed location makes you feel like sitting in a countryside restaurant in Italy. Chose the antipasti menu and you'll be served various small plates that all are carefully prepared. Take your time and at the end of the evening you'll have a full stomach and a warm feeling inside.

Beautiful meal, nice ambience and friendly staff. Don't expect service to be quick, everything is very relaxed and typically Italian e.g. dinner should be a meal you sit and enjoy, preferably for 2 or 3 hours.

Very very good food we had the rump steak it was so tender and melt in your mouth, absolutely lovely foodFriendly staffAnd a stunning restaurant with a chef who meets and greets the guests and you can obviously see he has a personal pride in what he doesWould highly recommend !!!

Pretty underwhelming food - and as such it felt rather undeserving of its seemingly high rating.

This is Walter - the chef and owner of Il Pastificio. We have never been closed. I don't know where Google gets its information from but it's about as wrong as it could be and definitely not very helpful.They haven't even used the correct address and when I tried to correct it to that which the Royal Mail uses it wouldn't let me !Still working on it but it might take Google 1 or 2 weeks to sort it out.In the meantime we are still here and haven't gone anywhere.Thank youWalter
