Absolutely appalling service. Took my friends from London to this restaurant as it used to be one of my favourites. Booked a table for 10 and was seated at a table with 3 grills, which one of them doesn't work. Requested to change the table as our friend has dietary requirement and can't cross-contaminate grilling plate. We were told that she could sit by herself in another table at the corner. Absolutely appalling. Then when the food arrives, they have mistakenly put an wrong order of meat platter onto our table. We didn't notice and started cooking it, then strike 2, the waitress came, took the uncooked raw meat away (which is fair enough), THEN also grabbed the cooked meat off our grill! I can definitely imagine they re-using our half-cooked chicken for someone else's dishes. LET'S TALK ABOUT HYGIENE?!Just to round this "lovely" experience up, when the waitress was collecting dirty dishes, she just carelessly poured half dish of raw seafood marinate onto my friend's trousers, didn't even offer an apology or napkin. NEVER AGAIN.

Was here with a few friends. To say we left disappointed is an understatement; it was an abysmal experience compared to what we expected from the reviews.Half of the cushion of the chair I was on seems to have withered away and vaporized due to the countless people having sat on it for 10+ years. The whole place seemed a little neglected. The food itself wasn't very close to being authentic, it was meh.One of our stoves was not working and they suggested to split up 2 group members onto a separate table in a distant corner - in what world is that the default response for a group trying to have dinner, *together*!? Also they did not seem to understand the concept of cross-contamination of meals due to dietary requirements. The service team has a lot to learn, there were even more problems beside this. Felt like I was an annoyance, not a customer.Definitely do not recommend going here - it is lacking in everything you want from a nice place to enjoy a meal at. I will be socially distancing myself from this restaurant, far far away at a competitor's.

wonder why this restaurant has so many good reviews on Google. very disappointing food and services. it is not authentic Korean food but more like random Asian food and definitely not worth coming. Meat was not fresh and kimchi tasted very weird, while the waitress is not even clear what's on the menu and obviously lacks training. She even split the meat sauce on my pant which was so annoying. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!

The worse service I got in the UK. We were 10 people and they sit us in a place where one of the bbq heaters was not working, so we had to move and squeeze ( they wanted to separate the group and sit us in two tables). When the food was arriving, we started cooking all when the waitress came and took the food from our hands and the bbq heater since she mistakenly brought us the incorrect order. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! To finish the bad experience, when tidy up the used plates, the same waitress split raw fish sauce into my pants as she did not even try to be careful. NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE!The food was also not authentic and not as tasty as the review says. I would not recommend this place!

The meat platter at kimchi is the best… I loved the flavours on the pork and beef 🤤.Great value for money, £100.00 for 5 of us.Friendly staff and very quick to serve us.

The BBQ menu did not disappoint and gathering our own food from fresh then grilling was very satisfying. I would return again to try the various sides. A good selection of meat and vegetable choices. Staff were very efficient and polite.

Ok, unfortunately went for the seafood udon and you could tell it was just frozen stuff out the bag was abit flavourless, the rest was good though!

Disappointing. It’s not an authentic korean restaurant the food was tasteless and it had not much to do with Korean food (perhaps it comes close to Chinese food). When I asked to pay, the owner said it was cash only but I had no cash so he let me paid by card.

The food here was fantastic and I thought the price was very reasonable. There was only two of us and we wanted the full experience so ordered a lot of the bbq menu. Service was okay, and food came out sporadically. The meat was fantastic and tender and was a great experience for our first Korean bbq experience. Definitely want to go back again to try other foods on the menu. We traveled an hour to get here as it was the closest Korean restaurant to us. Would happily do the trip again. Only downside we did come away from the restaurant smelling of grease.
