Fabulous service from Andrew today. We had a few issues ordering (our fault) and Andrew was so helpful and kind sorting it all out for us. Coffee was amazing and by little boy said it was the best hot chocolate ever! Lovely food and a great team. 😀👍🏼

What an amazing place run by amazing people. I was in Cardiff for a wedding, visiting from NYC (so I have eaten some delicious food) and everything I ordered was very tasty. But not only that, but I accidentally left my airpods in a chair. I emailed the staff and they mailed it to me even though I do live nearby!! I am blown away at the customer experience and the staff going above and beyond to return my belongings. Shoutout to Connor, specifically!

Seriously great coffee, tasty food, and a wonderful array of cakes! What's not to love?!

I have come here twice and had pastries and coffee. The first time, I ordered a cappuccino and the second time I ordered a cortado. I came here because I saw the good reviews for coffee, so I was surprised when I was so disappointed in the cappuccino (a very basic beverage that I have had in Spain, Mexico, Germany, other parts of the UK, and back home in Seattle). I couldn't finish the cappuccino because it was mostly steamed milk and I couldn't taste the coffee at all. I was shocked that the cappuccino was served in such a large cup and then I noticed the same thing happen at another local coffee shop which clued me in to the fact that people just expect foam capped lattes here when they order cappuccinos.The pastries were so good, however, that I came back a second time believing that I would only order the pastries. I went out on a limb and asked the barista about the milk to coffee ratio in their beverages and ended up ordering a cortado instead of a cappuccino. The barista confirmed to me that there is just some odd expectation that cappuccinos should essentially be lattes and the fact that their intuition matched mine gave me a boost of confidence. The cortado was what I expected it to be and I could taste the coffee and enjoy the beverage.

Coffe was good however the service and the food was not at all. All tables were messy and no one in the staff seemed to take care of them so we had to move other people’s dirty plates to another table. About the food, lower then average. Much lower let’s say it that way.

good food and atmosphere! pancakes cakes could use a smidge less syrup tho! apart from that, would definitely return !

Amazing food! So good that we came 2 days in a row. I only wish we tries it on the first day we could but alas, we stumbled upon it on the second last and last day of being in Cardiff.The lovely batista person behind the till had asked if we wanted a loyalty card and we explained we were on holiday. When we went back the next day he asked us if we were certain and we said we were sadly driving off after our breakfast. I noticed after paying for some sandwiches etc. for the road, that they had peanut butter, dark chocolate and sea salt cookies and asked my husband to get me one and the batista person gave me it on the house for returning, and wished us a safe journey. This genuinely made my whole day!Please go here, its soo good. I recommend the rose and jasmine tea, and honestly anything with poached eggs because the food was outstanding.

Very nice looking cafe the hot chocolate is very nice made with real chocolate. It a shame they don't do the same with the mocha. Instead it's cheap cocoa powder that leaves a bad taste. Same with the match latte, very powdery. The food looks good but the portion is small.

First time visiting last week with a friend and I liked it so much I came back this weekend. The food was really hot and tasty. Service was prompt and efficient and it's very reasonably priced. It was nice to visit a coffee shop less popular than the well known ones. It's really clean quirky inside, a real relaxing atmosphere and ordering on the app makes it so much easier. Highly recommended.
