We had ordered vada paav, samosa and veg thali. The food was okay, average.

I go out of my way to shop here. Excellent range of spices, staples, and box mixes. If you're after a place to go to expand your culinary repertoire, this is a good start.

After years away, we have fallen in love with this place all over again, basic, set alongside a supermarket, literally, very basic, no nonsense but don't be put off. Great food, great value, vegetarian indian street food at its best. We had the veg thali £10.99 each, an absolute steal for such an authentic, flavoursome meal - go go go, go, go! Madhav's has been here for years and really, really is worth the visit. You won't be disappointed 😋

Basic cafe serving very pleasant and good value South Indian staples such as dosa eat in or takeaway attached to specialist grocery.

·

A great place to shop for Indian food items, pre-mixes, spices etc. for reasonable prices.

First time here in several years and not disappointed! The food and service is excellent and I will be returning again very soon!

A really Authentic and humble vegetarian restaurant along with a grocery store near Cardiff Central Railway Station. With multiple food options and various Indian Cuisine, It hits the right chord with nominal prices. I had this Thali along with Kachori which was quite tasty and is enough to share with two people. A must visit if you are looking for authentic Indian food in Cardiff.

I joined my Indian friend to go and have a meal here. She got the meal and convinced me to eat it and oh my, it tasted lovely. It has a store that you go into from the Madhav. It’s an Indian store.Madhav is neat and serves nice Indian meals.

Well stocked and helping nature of Mr Sapte at the counter won our hearts! We spoke in Marathi and he responded to us in typical Kolhapuri accent of Marathi.Felt very much at home when we found almost all that we Indians, especially maharashtrians need like scraped fresh coconut and ofcourse dried fish which we relish in Mumbai.Ofcourse apart from fresh eggs, they don't sell Chicken or mutton/lamb/pork.But for that there are plenty of outlets nearby .Very reasonable rates and sufficient availability of all items...u think of it and u find it there. The dine in section serves delicious vegetarian fare....not to forget batata Vada and mava barfi!

Great Indian Thali at cheap price. I saw this place in a video by famous news anchor from India and thought to go there one month back. Small place but definitely good quality food. Worth visiting Madhav
