Stoped in on a works night out for a drink staff were lovely great local, also called in Saturday evening and ended up singing on the karaoke what a lovely pub landlord is ok as well lol

Great pub and brilliant atmosphere. Went to karaoke there last weekend as part of the Platty Joob celebrations and it was great fun with actually some really good singers. The chap at the end singing My Way was especially talented. Will definitely go back!

We loved this as an old 'Brains ' pub.Now it's changed to 'Marstons' there's not much difference save the choice of ales.My friend loves it more cos it sells 'Guinness ' & me cos it sells 'Rev James' still.Didnt ask,but I wonder if it sells 'Pedigree '.Find out next time we go.

Lovely friendly pub , situated in the whitchurch village ,staff friendly very welcoming , reasonable prices on alcohol , no food which is a blessing as it’s a traditional pub , snacks available behind bar , good sports pub , music playing in background , customers of various ages all pleasant , skittle alley which is still in use with some teams still playing . Also good for a a small group to get together when available . All in all a good pub , and surrounded by various restaurants all within a step away .

The pride of the village! I am always made to feel very welcome in the Maltsters, friendly staff, very reasonable prices, excellent pint and a great atmosphere. The landlord Colin makes an effort with all his patrons, he’s one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.

Without doubt the friendliest and most welcoming pub in the village. Locals and staff alike very friendly and the big screens show all the top sport, or you can escape to the Lounge for a quieter drink. Great place.

Great village pub ! Really enjoyed our visit to the Malsters the staff were very friendly and polite 😀 Colin supplied great music and everyone within the pub were thoroughly enjoying theresleves.. Friday night fun!

Lovely pub with great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great gin selection. My partner is also very fond of the Ale’s… best around!
