Brilliant! It was my first visit here with family that come regularly. The food was lovely, the girl serving was very helpful and informative. The food was fast and fresh. Desert was OMG. The menu is simple and tasty. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Ordered a takeaway for 3. Best Greek takeaway I've had in Cardiif. Really authentic flavours, kleftiko was delicious. Good fat chips, really soft bread, generous portions. Will definitely return, hopefully for a sit in!

Wonderful welcome, friendly, efficient service, delicious meals beautifully cooked on the premises and the Greek music playing softly in the background.Everything I had wished for, as it was a late celebratory meal, planned, but not able to be taken during the Pandemic.Well worth the wait!Lovely homely Greek restaurant in the Centre of Cardiff - thank you Maria's Taverna.

Lovely food, nice family restaurant atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Recommended.

When we a party of 6 booked we were told they were very busy on the Saturday night. We excepted the revised time. It was very busy when we arrived and we waited a while before our order was taken. It was well worth the wait. The menu was very comprehensive and the food was excellent. Probably the best Greek food that we have had outside of Greece. Well worth a visit.

The food we had here was absolutely delicious. The portion size is very generous but honestly so delicious, I couldn't leave it! It was my first time eating here and it won't be my last! Even though they were short staffed, we didn't have to wait long and those working there were really lovely. I would highly recommend a visit.

Ave Maria's! Praise where it is due. Really enjoyable lunch today (New Years Day Bank Holiday) when many other establishments were not open. Haloumi fries, drizzled with honey (no mint as advertised on the menu), were moreish. Filo parcel of feta cheese were superb. The crispiness, lightness and noisiness of the bites were amazing. The main courses were substantial. Beef patties stuffed with feta were a big eat and very tasty, the chicken souvlaki flavoursome. Both accompanied by a fresh salad and soft and warm pitta bread. Definitely will revisit to explore many other inviting dishes on the menu.

Been a couple of times now and it’s possibly overtaken ‘Hellenic eatery’ as my fav. Greek restaurant in Cardiff! Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, delicious food (esp. meat dishes) Good value (£14 for Gyros takeaway pictured).

Family Lunch on Sunday. Delicious greeck traditional dish! We have had the port skewers with chips and tzaziki salad. Lovely girl who was serving our table. Thank you for the great time. Highly recommend this place 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
