Mount Fuji in Cardiff

Do NOT go! So bad we left, and thank god didn’t have to experience the shoddy service/food. Staff are clueless, and the cutlery is dirty.If you don’t get the little things right. You definitely aren’t going to get the food right.Used to love this place for years. Now, I will never be back.Avoid!

Bento boxes are delicious and not bad value for money. Will definitely be back

I hated the food here, it tastes exactly the same as the instant / ready made stuff I buy at the oriental supermarket, except they are selling it at extortionate prices, about half their asking price would be better. It wouldn't be so bad if their service was good, but it wasn't, they took forever to take our order, and the waiter was giving out bad vibes all the time, he was miserable and just didn't want to be there. He also kept slamming everything on to peoples' tables, he slammed our noodles down onto our table so hard a large amount of the broth spilled onto the table, no apology nothing. I won't be coming back here, and I suggest you don't bother trying - they don't deserve your hard earned cash!

Can't recommend this place enough. Super friendly staff and amazing food. Although a bit on the pricey side, the portion size and food quality is amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant, genuinely never had this! First ever time I've ever felt the need to even write a review.This was all completely down to service. To over an hour long wait, to having the wrong orders and just missing dishes/drinks that we had ordered. Being blanked and just a really cold welcome from the staff.I would suggest to everyone to avoid this place, don't waste your money and more importantly your time.

if you want to eat something fast, good and tasty .... then this is the restaurant you are looking for ..... delicious 10+ food .... and the staff is amazingly welcoming and friendly who can keep you company and to tell you about the history of Cardiff Castle and not only that ...

Decided to stop off on a whim on a Friday afternoon as I went for a walk on my lunch break. I work from home so I usually give myself an hour to go outside and get some fresh air. At the time there was only myself and a couple in the whole restaurant. It took 10 minutes after I first came in for the waiter to ask if I wanted a drink. After then ordering food, it took another 50 minutes just to get the curry I had ordered to me. 45 minutes in I walked to the entrance of the restaurant just to politely enquire how much longer the food was going to be as I was on a timer (and nobody had bothered to come to me in that time either). I got a sarcastic response from the server telling me that I needed to go and sit down. Once the food arrived I then got told by the server that I needed to be more patient. After nearly an hour. Suffice it to say I arrived in a good mood and left in a bad mood. The food also tasted like it had been frozen and was nowhere near worth the wait. Mediocre food and awful service. Used to frequent this place regularly before lockdown. I won't be going again.

Nice enough food but service was slightly lacking. Nobody took a drinks order and when I asked for a water it never arrived. Slightly pricey but good portion sizes. Okay for a quick meal

Great service and great food, staff are friendly.Best place for Bento Boxes, always bring my friend here when she visits from Isle of Wight, it's our favourite place.

What can I say? No sushi available today… food was okay. Bento box was a good size but the price was a little steep, the tempura and gyoza were pre frozen… the side dishes were not super high quality. Would prefer to chose somewhere else next time. Thanks to the super kind staff tho, they were a highlight
