Took my father there on father's day and we were highly disappointed. The establishment was rather unsanitary, the tables were sticky to the touch and the cutlery was not clean. When the food came, the chicken was rather dry and the chips were soggy. However, my 10 extra spicy chicken wings were edible. In conclusion, the only good thing there was the Coca Cola, and even that came in a dirty glass. Would not visit again.

Same than every other Nando's. Nice food, friendly staff. However, when we were still eating a member of the staff came by and asked if they could get all the sauces to put the back, the restaurant was almost empty, so it wasnt for other clients and it felt that it was just a tidy up to close.

Cannot use card in person, cannot pay online without signing up for an account. Absolute Joke.Walked out and went to wagamama instead, hassle free bliss.

Beautiful location. Ambience is great. Location is easy to spot. As usual food is amazing. We had ordered two chicken grilled wrap and one with pitta. Two kids meal. Huge variety to choose from. Enjoyed eating. Will surely come back for more

Staff deserve 5 stars for their excellent service. Prices are reasonable.Ordered:Chicken Butterfly,FriesCorn on CobBottomless Coca ColaFood is standard Nandos - mediocre at best. Chicken was dry - as a result it was very hard. Fries and Corn were good.If it's only for food, i'd rather skip Nandos anywhere in the world any day.Cutlery looks well used (probably close to expiry date) - does not inspire confidence in eating with the cutlery.Well worth the visit for the location and the excellent service provided by the staff.

The staff were so kind especially a man named Jesus, and he was an absolute savior. He sorted every issue: When we were seated at an unfavourable table next to the busiest pat of the restaurant he imminently reseated us into a much comfier booth, also when my dad had trouble with the app but as quick as lightning he wrote everything down and allowed us to enjoy the evening. Highly recommend and Jesus is deserving of a big tip.

The staff were lovely and polite which was a positive. However, the negative was that there were two people placing orders on their phone apps for our table. The 2 separate orders for the same table came out 10mins apart. Therefor my brother's family was half way through their meals before I got ours. Just to point out we pressed pay on our apps at the same time to avoid any delays. After our meal my family decided we had enough room for desert so we placed another order on the app. My brother had already placed his order with his mains. My order turned up and we ate it and finished it and my brother's family was still waiting for theirs and he had to chase for it twice. It really spoilt our evening as Nando's couldn't get their timings right. We were there for 2.5hrs when this really should have been alot quicker.

I love Nando's and often visit their restaurants in other cities, especially for their whole chicken. But during our visit to Cardiff we ordered Chicken burger and the food, as always, was great. The staff at Nando's Cardiff (Mermaid Quay) were very friendly and welcoming. Although the restaurant was full, we received our order quickly. If the weather is good, I would recommend sitting outdoors as the view is good.

Food = great. It always is, we love Nandos. I tried the new sunset burger which was really really good.My issue was the service for takeaway. It was takeaway only when I went, I ordered online for click and collect. Should've been fine. On my arrival, it took 5 minutes for the guy at the front of house to even acknowledge me because he was too busy chatting to a friend about girls in hotel rooms. I eventually gave my order number which wasn't ready yet, so I waited. There was no organisation as to where you were supposed to wait, and given the amount of orders they were churning there was quite the crowd unable to distance.Whilst waiting, a child attended to collect an order and the guy "serving" asked to see the order on a device before he could hand it over. The child left to go get her mums phone, fine. A staff member inside then yelled at the guy at the front that he had to check the order on a phone before he handed to a child, to which the guy shouted back 'I did!' in the stroppiest tone whilst rolling his eyes. It doesn't sound like much, but when you were there and saw this exchange it was completely unprofessional. He continued to blab to his mate whilst orders were being prepared.Hopefully indoor dining will resume as normal and that type of service will end. At least with indoor dining open, you may be able to take a seat while you wait for a click and collect or at least get a friendlier server.Food honestly was great. Chips and coleslaw were on form. The sunset burger had a lot of flavour, really moist chicken thighs. The only other good thing about collecting was that you were offered sauces, napkins etc to take with you.

Has anyone seen the butterfly? After waiting for 1h and 10min because one of the meals would take 30min, this is what we got: half butterfly or "two chicken breasts joined by crispy skin" and then CUT transversally (second photo was after eating). Hadn't seen that in other Nando's before (you can see other picts in google), very disappointed.
