Pear Tree in Cardiff

Very friendly staff, it's a brains pub so I had something I've had in another brains pub. The creamy mushroom pasta was a little tasteless compared to the usual. Ambiance was good. Takeaway containers were biodegradable so thumbs up for that.

Lovely local pub but a little pricy for beers. Nice environment overall!

Lovely local serving food, went on a Sunday for breakfast, was clean with good service and delicious food.

Attended here for a friends wake, lovely place split over 3 floors. The toilets are down stairs however I didn't check for the disabled as wasnt required.Food was great and beer was good. Took slightly longer for food and had to leave some of it along with a beer as my parking time was due too expire.Parking is limited near by and thr only issue.

This was a very pleasant place to pop in for a drink with friends after work. A nice ambience with just the right level of chatter for a decent conversation. It was 1 in 1 out when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long at all. One way system with table service worked perfectly and the drinks arrived in stunning glasses. I would have liked to see a drinks menu but the staff were able to list everything available. We didn't eat on this visit but didn't feel we were hogging a table for diners either. I recommend.

The food was actually of a fair quality but the service was really poor. Our drinks didn't come together, our meals took over an hour with no warning of a wait. The food didn't come together. We had to ask for nearly everything twice. A Brains pub that didn't have SA available. The server served hot soup by passing it over my child's head to another guest. Service was terrible. Otherwise it would have been a decent meal.

Had a lovely breakfast with family here on Sunday, it was quiet and the staff were really accommodating with us ordering things that weren't strictly on the menu.Really fair prices, especially for the coffee which was so good!!We had a toddler with us and felt really welcomed. And it was nice and clean when we visited too.There are seasonal drinks and board games so I see potential for tipsy Scrabble in the future.A couple of years ago my boyfriend and I used to come here for dates which was always really nice.

Warm welcome. Spotless. Food was quick and really tasty. Slightly more expensive than I thought but worth it. Staff super chill and friendly. Whole place is based around a swirly staircase and toilets are on the ground floor.

Great place to do some work mid week (very busy weekends). Lovely staff. Excellent drinks prices.

Friendly polite professional staff. Nice ambience for a Saturday lunchtime. Wasn't busy nice a quite. Toilets are downstairs and it's easily accessible in to the building to and to entrance level disabled bathroom. Food was little pricey but really good for what you pay
