Pendragon in Cardiff

Awful experience.Lovely grounds and great if you have children lots of green space and a play park. I would come again for drinks just for the use of the park and grounds.Food: wouldn't reccomend.We were there for a christening.The buffet is 1/2 a sandwich per person. 1/4 of a pork pie and crisps. For £7.50 per head.When we got to the buffet there was nothing left to eat.We then decided to order food from the bar as had starving children. Food wasn't great. Was quite expensive for the sizes and quality. If cheaper then would say it was ok.

Have visited the Pendragon a few times while visiting family but this time, sadly, it was for a wake. However, the girls working that day were amazing!! Professional and attentive without being over bearing. The buffet was beautifully fresh and very well presented. A BIG thank you to everyone!! You done my uncle proud x

Staff were friendly, bubbly and very accommodating. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere, we didn’t feel rushed to order. The food was fantastic! It tasted superb and there was plenty on the plates. My partner and I finished everything with no leftovers

Lovely food, great service. We all enjoyed our food. Tasted amazing, everyone in our group of 9 enjoyed@The only minor letdown was the barking war between other customers' dogs

Friendly local pub with decent food and drink.Bit of a wait for food but not too bad.Would come back again 🙂

Gorgeous chips. My friend enjoyed the chicken. Not much vegetarian options. Hence the 4 stars. Friendly service, lovely beer garden with plenty of seating. Suitable for all ages.

Really nice food for a decent price. Some of the best chips I've had, the delicious Big Brains Beer burger is one of the best pub burgers I've eaten, it was a delight to visit the Pendragon. Will be returning, probably for the rugby.

Had a fabulous starter served the chef because my wife has a nut allergies explained by her.I had steak that was cook to perfection, the service was excellent.Will be back again thank you

Haven't been to a Brain's pub in along time and really enjoyed it. The mains were what you'd expect from a chain, but the desserts were next level!

OK so much better than many of the pub restaurants in the area. Excellent customer service. Clean, busy and surprisingly good service despite how busy it was. Highly recommend if you like lively places with great vibe. Varied menu and cater for vege/vegans.
