Sainsburys Cafe - Penylan in Cardiff

Nice store to shop in,plenty on the shelves,excellent prices & great to see the security guard from Aldi over there.He was helpful there & the same in sainsburys👍👍

Expensive and a shame that the cafe is gone, since the refurb the range is a lot smaller which has meant we're more likely to go to a different supermarket for a bigger selection now. Newsagent section is tiny compared to what it used to be and plants were all dry and wilting, the store still looks dark and dated after the refurb. Could be a great shop but looks like some bad decisions (like putting argos in) have ruined it.

I love shopping here now ever since they've launched my nectar prices for shop n scan customers! Massive savings based on what I buy!

Getting more and more disappointed with this store. Having shopped here for over 30 years - spending a lot of money here on a regular basis. Today's shelves at least contained more food than the last few months. However, situation at checkout is worsening. Today @ 5pm with many queuing there were 3 tills open. I counted 6 employees within sight. 1 was supervising the self checkout, 1 stocking shelves, 1 "monitoring" situation at tills!! 1 had a trolley with 4 items in and was supposedly due to take them to specific places. The other one - I don't know what she was doing. Yet, once again it took longer to pay than shop.

Large store. With argos inside. No pharmacy. Roomy parking. Spotless store . Friendly staf. Never cluttered with cages of deliveries. Totally accessible. Spotty WiFi tho for use if app.

Don't have sainsbury by me so every so often take a drive up . Used the argos collect first and that went smooth and quickly .then bit shopping like the size of store goodchouce reasonable prices and easy to find way around. Nicefriwnslt helpful lady staff on self-scan when receipt dodnt come out wish I ad sainsbury me

The toiletries section in here is really good, loads of different products stocked and the beauty section is really nice - it’s like walking round the fancier parts of Boots! I don’t do my full food shop here because it’s definitely more expensive than the alternatives but this is a nice store to pop into for clothes/toiletries/treats - the bakery selection is also really good!

The store was super clean upon entering! The shelves were very well stocked. The staff were helpful, particularly the cafe staff who really made us smile and were extremely happy.Plenty of parking outside.The toilets were very clean.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PUBLIC -BE AWARE !CHECK THROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASE DRINKS !!!Bought holiday drinks and food stuffs including COCONUT WATER from your Colchester Avenue, Cardiff branch.After drinking Coconut water I had crampy abdominal pain and diarrhoea for 3 days and and ruined holiday.Had doubt on drinks checked dates on coconut water and it was expired 3 months before (on 02/05/2021).It is unbelievable that superstore chain like Sainsbury's sells out dated drinks and play with public health.What a shame !!
