Santiago's Tapas in Cardiff

Quite a small restaurant but it picks a punch with the delicious food they offer. You just have to do the tapas...very filling but very delicious. I suggest that you book a table in advance as it's very popular, especially at weekends. I recommend to eat here and will definitely be back

One of the best tapas i have ever tasted. Very friendly staff and efficient service. Luckily me and my friend walked in and had a table he had never had tapas before and was blown away with it. Will visit again when I'm in Cardiff.

An outstanding medium sized restaurant, run by great staff serving amazing food. We visited as a late lunch walk in. The team were more than accommodating and ran through their extensive menu. A recommendation of 2-3 tapas dishes per person was well received and perfect for a substantial late lunch. 👍 do not walk past this place you will regret it.

Booked for the evening a couple weeks ago and what a lovely place! The food was gorgeous, the location is excellent as we'd been out shopping prior. I was also pleasantly surprised on paying as the bill was more than reasonable. Highly recommended!

Amazing food. All of the 4 things we ordered were delicious. Food came so fast, within 10 minutes of ordering and hot and fresh. Our server Ben was very warming and kind he knew lots about the menu and gave us lots of information. 10/10 will be 100% returning

Went in hoping for a table after checking the girl managed to squeeze us in. And wow how grateful we're we. The tapas was amazing so filling and tasty. Being pigs we ordered mains of paella and a burger oh lord no we deffo had eyes bigger than our bellies(hard to believe I know). 3 huge cocktails as well so stuffed to the brim. Was expecting the bill to be over £100 so was happy when under £70. And gave me a doggy bag for the hound.

The service was attentive, friendly and swift. The restaurant was clean and authentic with the small kitchen nestled at the back. They offer plenty of good wines and a few Spanish beers to top.All the dishes were freshly prepared and tasty, whilst the menu had plenty of choice for meat eaters and vegans alike. A good value for money choice and we'll be back.

I booked Santiago’s for my friends hen do, it was a hit with the whole party. We were even talking about it at breakfast the next day. The price was fabulous for the amount of food and drink we got, service was speedy and the food itself was spot on. Thank you for having us!

Visited 26/6/21. Was very excited to be visiting after living in spain and on the various islands for over a decade and hankering the cuisine. Wasn’t disappointed, havent stopped raving about the place . This will be my go-to each time i go to cardiff. Hugely recommend !!!!

The service was excellent. It was a full house and we were not aware that we had to make reservations but the waitress was so kind to squeeze us in.We ordered tapas for 2 and it was just nice. Our favourite was the grilled octopus with boiled potatoes underneath. It was well seasoned and wasn’t rubbery. The calamari rings were a bit oily but tasted great with garlic mayo which we requested for. The spanish omelettes were a bit dry and the croquettes were a bit too sweet to our liking. Overall the taste was great nonetheless. Price wise was reasonable too.Would recommend!
