Shaam Nights in Cardiff

Already, upon entering, the aesthetic of the restaurant was simply beautiful and presented the culture well. Our server was very friendly and helpful when helping us choose our meals, which definitely didn’t disappoint. Generous and tasty portions. I’ll definitely be going back

The design of the restaurant is very good and once you’ve entered it you feel that you’re outside Cardiff which is great feeling. The food was delicious but it was not enough for its price and I didn’t feel they are generous with the food and its presentation. I was surprised that the restaurant doesn’t accept paying by cards and only cash. I personally don’t like to pay cash as I need to see the VAT so I asked for the VAT to be included and as you can see in the photo of the receipt the among of the VAT was included and was £1.25 whilst my bill was £76.5 so it’s VAT should be ~£12. It’s not good to treat customers as they’re foolish. Not back again and not recommend it for these reasons.

It was our first time here. The juices were so nice! Food was delicious, so filling and tasty. I am not a lamb lover and I can just say that their mince lamb was the best thing on the plate 😊 So happy I will definitely come back!

Excellent service, very tasty foods, asked for a bit hot and cooked as asked. Chef came and check if we liked the food.But they should have kept card machine. They are taking cash only!! Otherwise I would put a 5*

Love it here, great food, lovely inside. Cash machine right outside incase you forget its cash only. Food came quickly and hot. Was empty at 6pm on a Monday so very chill.Start we shared mix mezzae, thats hummus, aubergine, falafel, rice in vine leaves and two fresh baked naans. Very nice for upto 4 people really.I had lamb chops I told them cook them less so was nice and juicy little pink. I hate a dry chop and the fat was lovely and tender with a crisp edge I demolish mine with rice a garlic mayo and small pot of taziki.My partner had mix sheesh kabab chicken and lamb with chips also with a garlic mayo and a extra side bowl of taziki.Normally drink a polo (lemon and mint) or fruit juice but we was boring and had cokes.I also ordered filo filled balls with rice, mince and peas, nice a little dry but slap some yogart and chilli sauce was nice.Definitely worth a visit food is nice especially the grill.

Wow what a hidden gem this place is! Popped in for some lunch and was impressed with the great variety of meat and vegetarian dishes on offer. Very beautiful and sophisticated decor with excellent customer service to match. You must try their fresh juices they are absolutely amazing along with the rest if the menu!

As you enter the restaurant takes you back to somewhere far from Cardiff. I thought the food was authentic. Large serving but you would want to eat all as it was so delicious.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. Excellent quality, wonderful staff, and the most delicious food I've ever eaten. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was welcoming and a fantastic host. I keep coming back to this incredible restaurant!!!! Absolutely love it.

Truly excellent food. The restaurant is beautiful inside, very well decorated with solid wood tables and comfy booths. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and helpful when needed. The service was even quicker than expected, but the food is just incredible. The Mix Grill is one of the best food items I've ever eaten, and I cannot recommend it more highly. Fantastic restaurant. 5 stars.

The food was really nice and a different experience altogether.. u get a taste of Syria when ur in this restaurant..And once u finished your food the tea is on the house.Enjoyed the Food and the service.
