Signor Valentino in Cardiff

First time I’ve been here and the whole dining experience was fantastic. The staff were happy and knowledgeable, the food was definitely on point and the prices were reasonable. All in the experience was exactly what I thought it should be.

I went into Signor Valentinos in Cardiff Bay a couple of times when I was staying in Cardiff.The restaurant is on the first floor and has a lovely view of the Bay.I found that the food was delicious.The staff were all so friendly and helpful.I will definitely be going back there when I am back in Cardiff.

A great find for an evening meal in Cardiff bay! A sign was by the door stating "reservations only", but there were plenty of tables free when we went, including a good number out on the balcony. Stunning views and decent service, but the food was fantastic - great portions offfering good value for money and so delicious. For an authentic Italian restaurant, I thought the tiramisu was disappointing, but the pasta was delicious and the profiteroles my partner had were divine. Would be back if in the area.

Lovely ambience with great views over the water if you have a window table. We didn't take the dog but I doubt they would accept dogs.Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant.The food was very good although there is room for improvement but I still give them 5 stars for listening to our feedback. Definitely recommended.

Romantic Italian dining. We were warmly greeted at the front desk on the evening of Valentines day. Our table overlooked Cardiff Bay. We had olives, bread and olive oil, slices of tomato and a plump ball of mozzarella for our starter. For our mains she had the penne and I had steak and potatoes with a brandy cream sauce (photo included). The service was impeccable and the food very agreeable. I give 4 stars because maybe there was something about the atmosphere that was slightly missing but we had a lovely evening at this fine establishment.

Authentic Italian restaurant with great menu and pleasant, helpful, staff. We visited after a rugby match and were made welcome, even though we aren't Welsh (or Italian). Unfortunately, I don't like automatic service charges (we gave extra anyway), otherwise I would have given 5*.

Best food and drinks..pretty pricy tho
