A huge array of Indian food, plus Chinese dishes stir-fried to order, in a large buffet restaurant.

Curries were bland, options were poor, most of the desserts were cheap shop bought desserts, staff were friendly but clueless at the same time. We were billed as students which we had explained we was but when we went to pay, they tried charging us as non students.

Excellent varieties of food, the chat and dosa counter is particularly special in dinner buffet. The restaurant staff is courteous and humble.Very good variety for vegetarians. The ambiance has scope of improvement..

Probably one of the worst buffet places in Uk. Noone at the restaurant walked us to the table, we just took a table. Waited for 15 mins, even though it wasnt that busy, noone bothered to give us the menu or cutlery or ask for drinks. We went to the bar and asked them about the process and ordered our drinks. Waited at the table for 20 more minutes, noone came with the drinks. I had to go and remind them , the waiter casually said, oh which table i forgot ! 10 minutes later he came back with a mojito which is probably the worst mojito i ever had in my life. Anyway ,the food at the counter was half finished. There wasn't any fish or lamb left in starters. No chicken biriyani or desserts left either. It was just 9pm when we walked in with a pre booking.Noone came to ask if we need anything. I went upto the bar and asked for a glass of water , which again the waitors forgot and i had to literally go there again asking for a glass of water. After all of this paid 16.99 per person, plus drinks( which was undrinkable) , and the waitors actually had the audacity to ask for tips on top of that. This is a ridiculous place, minimum respect for customers isn't there. Waitors are actually playing with each other while customers are waiting at tables. Please don't bother visit. Absolutely Ridiculous.

First visit in a long while. Front of house was welcoming with a warm smile. Allowed us to find our own seat and explained the buffet. There aren't many selections compared to JCR or others, however it's also £3 cheaper. The food is mainly Indian and some live wok cooking with veg, beef, prawns and chicken options. 4 star for cleanliness, friendliness and pricing.

I went recently for dine-in for dinner buffet to this restaurant there were Lots of Varieties of Food options available for Choosing as much as we can like nearly 15 starters includes vegetarian/vegan/non-veg and 12 Main courses, stir fry and Dosa(Indian Pancakes) live cooking station, 3 varieties of Naans and 20 different types of salads& fruits, 3 different soups,10 desserts, 5 varieties of Indian street chat food and 3 varieties of Ice-cream flavours and all these varieties are unlimited and comes for a reasonable price and staff are very friendly especially the lady who welcomed me was too polite and explained everything clearly that how does buffet works and I'm pretty sure I'll go to dine-in to this restaurant twice a month, Finally Thank you Spice route team for my wonderful food experience

A lovely buffet with friendly staff and a good variety of good. Great for those who want a true taste of India especially as they have genuine street food, (bhel Puri and dosa's).

If I could give no stars and leave a review I would. Ordered from too good to go. Shocking this is 2 'bags' supposed to come to £28 (£13.99 each) what a joke. Wouldn't have been so bad if the food was nice tasted like a jar of curry I would get from supermarket, lacked flavour with a bit of rice and 2 chicken nuggets. AVOID don't waste your money.

1. The staff are incredibly rude. I walked in and even though nobody else was in and it had been open half an hour the woman tutted when I made her get up. She then made me pay before sitting down. Even though 4 people came in after and were shown to seats without paying.I went to the place with the woks 3 times to get a noodle dish and the chef ignored me.2. The food is average. Actually better than red hot buffet but not as nice as Fed. All the curry tasted exactly the same just a different colour.3. No atmosphere at all, no music, just the sound of a man cutting veg.4. The desert options were laughable.5. So much stuff on the online menu isn't there.

Proper madras Indian food,my mother in law who born in India said that. It wasn’t surprised me with less variety and only chicken but taste is really good and making fresh food in front of you is credit. Eventually, I am really enjoy it. Thanks for making me proper Indian food.
