This place was AMAZING. Not only was the food delicious, the employees were delightful and very generous. The atmosphere is great, which makes eating there an experience that isn’t just about the food. Dill especially was very friendly and we had great conversation. The staff here goes above and beyond to treat you like family. Highly, highly recommend.

Stunning food here and reasonably priced, we had chicken madras and lamb sali ghost. Both delicious, can't wait to go back again 😋

Absolutely loved every dish. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The food was so delicious. I loved the way the menu informs you of the allergies from the onset. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I was so full afterwards I had to have a little power walk to burn some calories. I had enough for lunch the next day. Definitely eat here again on my next visit

If you're thinking of going here I suggest you plan and book well ahead. It's unlikely you get a table on a walk in.That said, the menu is varied, clear and concise as well as reasonably priced. The food is excellent and the service was great. Very friendly staff and a lovely ambiance.Well worth a visit.

Oh good old star of Wales...I wont even try anywhere else anymore ! Don't fix what ain't broken ! To me the best Indian in cardiff ! The staff are friendly talkative tentative happy helpful funny and proffesional ...the food well I always eat same thing and My son has everything even my grandson loves it here he is 8. Best keema nan ever !! Lamb curry to diefor ! The whole place is spotless tranquil and welcoming ...we have dessert too and their ice cream etc is like nNo other. On Fridays we alternate between collection and eat in ..if I could give 6 stars I would .thankyou star of Wales for your great food ans service amd extra chocolate at the end because I'm addicted to them lol.merry Xmas your the best xt

Went here for a birthday meal. The food was great everyone enjoyed. The service was faultless. Theses guys go the extra mile. Very friendly and gave the birthday boy a free drink. You almost feel part of the family. Star of wales deserves it 5 star rating and meets it easily.

It was one of the best Indian food restaurants around UK! So yummy and friendly staff!

The food was only okay (some of the food ordered by my table veering on bland) except for the 'Dagni Ghost' which was very good indeed. One of the starters ordered was forgotten but the error was rectified pretty quickly. The atmosphere was good, the decor very typical, cozy and inviting in an old fashioned way.
