Went last week to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary.Excellent food, superb service. Great menu choice, 3 of us had very different things and they were all delicious.Cannot find fault whatsoever.

This is a great location situated in the village of Whitchurch. Which it can be considered a suburban part of Cardiff. The area is very affluent and this restaurant fits in well. The service from the staff has always been very efficient and helpful. The quality of the food is fantastic offer in a wide range of choices. Would highly recommend, but always ensure you book before arriving.

This place is fantastic any time of the day - we have enjoyed breakfast, brunch and evening meals here in groups ranging from 2 to 6 people and our experience has been consistently excellent. The menu is varied and the food is superb when it arrives, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff who clearly enjoy working there.Only note of caution ( which is no fault of the restaurant ) is that Whitchurch is very challenging for parking, so walk if possible or allow plenty of time for parking, as this is a place you won’t want to rush.

Nice atmosphere and very good service. Food was OK, not great and a little pricey for what we had. I had the tagliatelle, and it was lacking in finesse, and didn’t have much veg in it (few sprigs of broccoli at the bottom of the bowl). My partners beef pasta was the same. I could have done better at home but when I eat out I expect something better than what I’d do at home.

What a lovely return to The Brook Bistro! First visit since pandemic madness and nothing disappointed. Enjoyed the improved decor and the food was superb! Genuinely a fantastic independent restaurant for Whitchurch village! 😊👍

I highly recommend the bottomless brunch. The food is scrumptious and well presented and it truly is bottomless prosecco. Our glasses were refilled before we'd emptied them! The menu choice exceeded my expectations with a good range of vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The food was really tasty and served at a perfect temperature. The staff were attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was just right. Lovely little bistro

Decor much improved since last visit, quite atmospheric with friendly vibe. Would benefit from dual entrance door as cold air rushes in on each opening. I had the Welsh beef strips in pasta. If ultra critical, more chunks than strips and would prefer a creamier sauce. Wife had a burger but over cooked and dry. Staff were pleasant and we enjoyed our visit. Every table booked so can't be bad.

Had fab food here tonight. Made very welcome by all staff and lots of lovely choices on menu. Both starters and mains cooked to perfection didn't have pudding as was too full. Definitely will be returning.

Absolutely stunning!!! Ordered the Welsh breakfasts, presentation was brilliant, the flavours were absolutely stunning, everything was quality and cooked to perfection, only called in after hearing about the food served here, really amazed me ... The decor was nice and relaxing, also got outside seating area, very nice bistro, prices were excellent too, compared to the quality you get served, all in all a great experience, and a gem of whitchurch village... will definitely be visiting again.

Nice deco, good food, very friendly service. A bit on a pricey side. 4 stars as opposed to 5 because the soup I got was nearly cold.
