The Crofts in Cardiff

Very comfortable, friendly staff. And good food. Recommended.

Stayed here for one night and I think for one person room was the perfect size.Double bed. Lovely view of a mural from the window.Just the perfect size.I couldn't help but notice the room is immaculate. Not a spec.There is separate entrances for the bar where you can get breakfast for as little as £7 I think it was.My only downside was the temperature. I was absolutely roasting. There was no air con or fans and I couldn't open my window even slightly. So felt a little locked in. I debated running the cold water in the bathroom to try get some cold air flow.Apart from that - gorgeous. I felt so comfortable in my room. It felt like my own room. Has everything you could need in a compact space. I wouldn't happily book here and my room again.

Stayed here for the night with a friend and can safely say it’s a hidden gem. Clean, lovely, modern suites and delicious, authentic pub food. Super easy check-in process and only a 10 minute drive from the city centre. Thank you Gemma for taking care of us and making us feel so welcome! If I find myself in Cardiff again, I’ll definitely be coming back here.

What a fab place. Check in was very easy as details sent before we arrived. Staff will advise where to park and we had no problems with two cars. We stayed in Rooms 7 and 8 and they were immaculae. Very clean, comfy beds and perfect for our stay. Location was just right. 2o min walk and you're in centre. Breakfast was excellent and very well priced. And finally thanks to the staff. They are amazing. Friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. Will help you in any way they can. The locals in the bar are very friendly and welcome you as well. Have to mention Oscar the dog, so friendly. Also Crofty the Parrot. Didn't see the Cat. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again in future when we visit Cardiff.

I stopped at the Crofts Hotel for 7 months June 21 to February 22.I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I was treated like family. The food is good the rooms were modern clean and well equipped. The beer is great and the locals were really friendly.The Hotel has a family feel with great staff. It is a little gem close to the city centre and an asset to Cardiff. I will be back there to visit with my bike in the not so distant future.

Great pub friendly staff good customer service and the talking parrot what a great laugh he is,the food and drinks are great too,well worth a visit day or night.

Great pub.top pint. Great staff. Fantastic fun on Sunday. Top of the pops.

Lovely room spotlessly clean two double beds with a amazing shower in the ensuit. Only 20minute walk from the city will be staying here again...

Popped down here for the first time tonight for a cheeky pint and a game of pool and can't speak highly enough of this place! Lovely land lady, beautiful pool tables, super cool parrot 🤣 and the smoking area out the back is a hidden gem... can't wait for summer! Our new local 👍🏻👍🏻

Been nearly 20 years since last visting this pub.. fresh clean, staff friendly and polite. Wont leave it that long for the next visit..
