The Grange Pub in Cardiff

We started to visit this pub recently because we live in Grangetown, and we love it. The staff, the food, the environment, everything is great. Definitely we recommend it and we will come back soon.

Little choice in Grangetown since closure of other pubs. No deals and high prices considering this is a local pub. A local pub charging town prices. Could vastly improve things by introducing reasonably priced Sunday lunches and deals.

Popped in this pub post visiting the Tramshed. There was a lovely cask stout on. Service was friendly. Also was a quiz night. I think the ambience could be improved with some uplighting as it was a bit too bright ( for me). Would return though.

Pub has gone down hill because of the attitude of some of the staff. This has made me visit less frequently. This has also been noted by a number of my friends. Staff act like you're an inconvenience, especially at the end of the night when they want to close. J've had staff threaten to take my drink off me and when questioned tell me that they can close when they want. Hardly a welcoming environment. They are lucky there aren't many other options in the area as I wouldn't choose to visit a pub with such unfriendly staff. J've never experienced this anywhere else.

Second (and third) visits to The Grange whilst in Cardiff for the rugby. First visit 3 years ago and enjoyed it - hence the 2nd and 3rd visits last Saturday. Plenty of room, served quickly and efficiently by pleasant staff, clean toilets - all round excellent pub. Will definitely be my pub for rugby on future visits - I live in London

One of my favourite Cardiff pubs. Unusual beer choices with the likes of Staropramen, Madri, and Dr Grangelove. Fish & chips are good, but the Grange fried chicken (GFC) burger is fantastic. Dog friendly, weekly pub quizzes, decent beer garden.

Couldn't wish for a better local! Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, beer garden and outside pizza oven!! What more could you want? Oh yeah, and a banging Sunday lunch!!!

What a fabulous pub. Clean, tidy and very friendly staff. The outdoor space is inviting with bench tables and umbrellas and even astro turf.They do great food and the chips are delicious and the homemade pizza made in their very own garden pizza oven was to die for.Watching sport on the big screen was fantastic.Can't wait to visit again.
