Lovely place for family anniversary and dinner for two 🍾fine dining with no fuss but care for the taste and people! We appreciate the fast service for freshly cooked meals! Very clean and cosy atmosphere. Lovely professional personnel.Approachable prices for the quality of the food!My poached egg wasn’t runny but I still enjoyed it.I will advise to temper the red pepper flakes on the squid. It’s matching up but not too much as it was on my husband’s plate. All in all a very pleasant experience and I am recommend it!

Had a last minute booking for an evening meal with my family. Loved the new decor! The food menu was also great and much improved. We had starters, and mains - both lovely all round (my husband had and I shared the Chateaubriand), great children's meal too as these an sometimes be disappointing in some places - for my 10 year old it was perfect!Great service too although I did feel they were rushed off their feet a little bit and difficult to order more drinks. Still very happy overall and would definitely come back again soon.

Another knock out meal and experience last night, tasting the new menu and checking out the revamp, which is pretty lush comfy and welcoming. The lil sharer plates are to die for, lovely additions of bao buns and sticky chicken bites, yes please all day! Well worth a visit perfect for foodies and cocktail lovers. This place is on my return to list for sure, well done guys 👏 the waiter Aaron was a delight also 😀

A beautiful garden lunch on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. Pork belly and sticky toffee pudding cooked to perfection by Mike and Lewis; sharp and friendly table service by Aaron. Would recommend to anyone!

Busy Bar & Restaurant in a quiet area of Cardiff.Good service and great food! Although the staff were very busy nothing was too much trouble and we didn't have to wait long for our order.

Upon booking we had previously popped by for a spontaneous mid week lunch and thought it would be ideal to celebrate a birthday with the family. It was explained to the manager that we were going to be five and that one particular family member needed more room, it was reassuring to know they could accommodate us and we looked forward to our visit. However upon arriving our table was ready and we was led to a table of four, similar to a booth. We was explained on our last visit that this particular table would be too small and throughout the meal it certainly was along with it rocking back and forth. It was clear there was no where else for us to go as the restaurant was packed and with the bottles of wine we had ordered and extra water plus the food, we really struggled. Secondly it was EXTREMELY hot, the light from the kitchen was constantly on (understandably) as it was peak Sunday service but it added to the discomfort. It was clear that my family was trying to grin and make it the best day for my birthday but really they didn’t enjoy the experience. The staff were amazing, so polite and attentive. The Sunday lunch… we ordered the trio, I was taken aback by how little/no veg was on the plate for the price and it was needed to be bought for a added extra, the Yorkshire was also overdone. Although the starters were wow!! I ordered the Camembert. All together we had paid £220 for our bill and my daughter was included in the 5. I was disappointed as we have not experienced a family meal together for a while due to ill health and I felt a little let down.

Wow wow wow, this restaurant is amazing the food is absolutely fantasticly delicious, this is a must visit for anyone visiting Cardiff. Great atmosphere, background music is delightful. Staff are very friendly and tentative. Also dog friendly in the bar area, they bring a fresh bowl of water and treats for the dogs without even asking! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, I'm still reminiscing about the food. Also dessert selection is too good to choose from, I asked for a taste of each and they happily obliged. Guys go visit this place, you will not be disappointed!

Vegetarian Nightmare - when I booked I told you that my partner was a vegetarian. He ordered the vegan mushroom starter I had the mushroom starter with white wine and cream - both delicious. We ordered a bottle of savingon blanc wine also delicious.Main course I had salmon my partner ordered the CANDIED ROOT VEGETABLE BAKE. Anyhow it came and he said he didn't recognise the vegetables on the top so started to eat the potatoes on the side. With that the young waiter came over and said we've given you the wrong main, it was actually BELLY PORK!!!!This did turn us off our main courses and the delicious moment had gone! He's been a vegetarian since he was a child. He took it quite well to be fair and the young waiter did apologise purfusely. We eventually had his main course I asked for chips in the meanwhile. The dessert was divine, vegan tiramasu for him and chocolate bomb for me .We than asked for the bill, it was a 2 for one offer email which was good but I was rather disappointed that the chips were added on the bill after the debarcle that occurred! So I told the young waiter I thought it should be removed. He then had to seek approval from his manager. The cost of the chips were removed.I was disappointed to be fair that an apology wasn't given and the cost of the wine wasn't removed either to be honest. So all in all great tasting food but mistakes were made that could have been rectified by management .

Was really looking forward to a pint and light bites after work. The food was very disappointing.ARTISAN RUSTIC BREADS & NOCELLARA OLIVESwith olive oil & balsamic vinegar (v)£6.50 - 🙄 nothing Rustic about the bread, bits of stale crusts!Fries £3.75 - next time I'll go to McDonald's, they were fried, fired and fried again! greasy burnt offerings.Don't waste your money! Also the state of the ketchup bottle the manager offered me in these covid times was shocking! We enjoyed our pint but the rest forget it!Thanks for the reply, I tried to speak to you but you were more interested in telling me I'd ordered incorrectly as the food came from a starters menu and sides thats why they didn't come together. Hope you will be more hospitable to future customers.
