Best fish and chips I’ve had in Cardiff. Huge piece of fish, too many chips. Tartare sauce could do with work but that’s a minor nit. Highly recommended.

I went to the shop to collect my fish and chips which I ordered through the website. Food had already been prepared on time and the fish was very tasty, will be ordered again (definitely through the websites).

Fish and chips at their best. It tastes simply excellent time and time again. In general, great value for money and food that leaves you wanting more! Highly recommended.

Smallest peice of fish, luke warm almost cold, no salt & vinegar despite asking for it i the request box, over £12 inc delivery & was awful. So disappointed

After 50 mins waiting for delivery, I contacted the shop they said it would be there in 10mins! My fish was very small and thin, batter soft and was cold chips cold and fish and chips had no salt even though I had requested it. Quality has gone downhill, i put it all in the bin, very disappointed i won't be using this food establishment anymore.

Absolutely shocking! If I could give no stars then I would. I placed an order through UberEats which I have done and had problems previously with this place but thought i’d give it one last chance… I wish I hadn’t bothered! After placing an order and choosing the “Leave at door” option, I attempted to track my order but no details were given of the driver’s name or when it had left. After waiting an hour for my food, nothing had turned up and there was no updates at all on the app. I rang the restaurant to ask about my order and I was told that “it’s about to leave, i’m just waiting for the driver to pick it up”. I said okay and waited. However, 20 minutes later, still no food. I then received a phone call to say that their personal driver knocked the door and there was no answer so my food went back to the store and I was required to pay an additional £2.50 to have it delivered again even though there was no knock on my door, no phone call to say that it was at the door even though I chose the “LEAVE AT DOOR” option. Nothing was stated to say that they use their own drivers and not Uber drivers which I was confused about. I am disgusted with the way I was treated on the phone by Joey who informed me of the additional fee with a very impolite and rude tone. This company clearly holds no responsibility for their actions and no care for their customers. It is safe to say that I will never be ordering/buying from here again. Appalling service!

My partner ordered fish and chips for delivery through their website and received an email confirmation. 1 hour 15 minutes later, still no food. When we rung to chase, they advised that they were having issues with the website sending orders through. Even knowing this, they obviously weren't checking for orders as they were able to find the order immediately. They told us it would still be another 25 minutes at that point so cancelled and now waiting for the refund.It's a shame as we previously had lovely food from here, but reading recent reviews it appears to have gone downhill.

Hate to be a Karen like BUT my lady had a Large Fish and Chips and gravy…. HELLA SALTY, not rated first time being here, chips tastes refried had to throw them away, batter on the cod was super oily the meat on the Cod itself was okay honestly gravy was the best thing.Come here if you like Food made for Prisoners,-8/10 WON’T BE BACK (Terminator style except genuinely ain’t coming back)

Really good food and amazing people working here, but cannot give 5 stars as you always have to wait even if you order online with a set collection time. I think it's reasonable to expect a slight delay at peak times, but waiting over half hour beyond the agreed collection time isn't. good, especially when you have a hungry family at home waiting to be fed.

Recently had the misfortune of having to use posh fish bar, to say it was absolutely 💯 disgusting is an under statement. Food was freezing cold, food was pre-cooked and re-heated!! Prices were at least 50p/£1 dearer that at Plassey fish bar just 2 minutes away. NO stars or recommendations off me I'm afraid, will never use again. Stay way if possible. Use plassey where food and prices are unbeatable. P.s, had to leave one star or couldn't post
