The Rummer Tavern in Cardiff

The place itself is a bit run down and scummy aesthetically but it's very well kept and cleaned, the staff are quite frankly phenomenal. Very friendly and accommodating. This would of been a 3 star besides the redemption of a VERY good pint of Guinness, properly poured by multiple bartenders and the right temperature

Best lil boozer in Cardiff. Super atmosphere. Staff where great craic, great chunes and incredible value for money. First place on list of pubs to revisit when Im back.

Great boozer, beers cheap, don't go to the toilets hold it in and wait till you get to another pub, the toilets are disgusting ,that's the only thing that let's this pub down .

Gent's toilet smells awful ,is down in basement also could smell wacky backy from street when front door open

Hideous. Don’t bother. Toilets in a hell of a state, football fans, rough as hell. Used to be a great pub.

Cardiff's oldest pub. Men's loos kinda attest to the age of it! Great atmosphere. Could do with a bit of tlc on the cleaning front to be fair! .

Haven't been here in a while, popped in the other week. 'Open Mike's nite, pretty good. Didn't use the loo, when last here the loos were in a bad state...hope they have improved now.

Had a ball called in Saturday for a pint had a few bar staff were brilliant will definitely be calling in again when we can all get together again cheers all for the welcome see you soon x

Brilliant atmosphere! We came from Dartford and found this little gem. Great staff, very friendly especially Joe and Aaron! We both enjoyed it so much! Quick and efficient service. We will def come back when we visit Cardiff next! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

Nice enough local 'pub' that could do with a little bit of spot & polish as a little bit worn. Has some good pictures on the wall of historic Cardiff to show what it was like before the enormous stadium was built, now 20years ago.
