Lovely place, quiet, staff great, food really good and fair value prices. Will be back again soon

The place is nice to sit for a pint and good for families with kids as they have a large beer garden and soft play. The food wasn't great and probably wouldn't eat there again.

Called in for a meal found the pub to be lacking in atmosphere the food was okay but nothing special, in my opinion expensive for what we had.

Food, after a wait, was good.I thought having several children running around the restaurant was unacceptable during our evening meal.The noise was relentless, I didn't complain as it seemed acceptable by the staff.We left as soon as the parents decided its bed time for the kids around half eight PM.Not sure if we will be returning anytime soon.

Excellent fish and chip meal - just the right amount and well cooked. Attentive, friendly staff. Food took a while to arrive but well worth the wait.

Very disappointed with our visit today after my brother recommended it. When we arrived we hadn't even sat down and the young lady was asking what we would like to drink, we had to wait to order our food when all the young girls were just wandering around. The food then took ages to come at least half an hour, 3 of us had a roast dinner which was lovely, my husband had fish which was full of bones. Then 3 of us had finished eating but mum was just finishing hers when the young lady came and took our plates away, I thought this was very rude. I am only commenting because unless people bring things to your attention they can't be rectified

Insanely delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and such friendly staff! Really child friendly....We had such a beautiful evening dinner. Already a firm favourite!

What a fabulous place.... Little hidden gem. Had a large table booked so waited a while for food... But was definitely worth it. The best apple and blackberry crumble I've ever tasted. X
