Tony's Fish & Chip Bar in Cardiff

Nasty honesly i have been away from cardiff for years but born and breed here used to love half and half from Tonys wow what a change food waa nasty never going back .... guess the old days are gone ....one star for the drink didint eat the food 😔👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Hot chips put on top of cold to make you think they have just gone cold whilst eating them, unfortunately I wondered why he took from two different baskets, indigestible and cold sausage, unfriendly service, very disappointing

Had the fried spicy wings there recently and they were damn good. They took a while but it was Saturday around 7 pm so can’t complain too much. 10/10 would eat again.

Mediocre food at best, good service but often incomprehensible. Had chicken dinner wrap and the chicken was soft and tender albeit hard and burnt. Would go again but not often

Late review - happened a few months ago however very much worth commenting. Asked for a certain meal and instantly recieved food from the bin. Check your meals when you order

Please don’t go there it’s minging, I went there instead of my usual (Dorothys) because there was a queue and no queue at this place and I wish I had queued it was VILE. I swear their curry sauce is made purely out of vinegar. They also charged me for a lemon Fanta and didn’t give me it.

I ordered a portion of chicken and chips. The chips were warm and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. The chicken pieces were cold towards the centre. I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Absolutely appalling service. My food didn't arrive and said it was delivered. The restaurant phoned me to say it was sent somewhere else and that there's an order on its way to me but it was different to what I ordered. That didn't arrive either. They ignored my calls then phoned me to say "we'll look after you next time, you have to call just eat". Reported to just eat instant messenger. I bloody well better get my refund.

easily going to stay this was the worst chips I’ve ever eaten, did not finish it because it tasted like oil and whatever was cooked in it last ! Horrible and a rip off ! Avoid and save yourself from the disgusting experience i had let alone how i felt and the money i wasted . How is this place still open i ask myself ? 0 stars and never returning . Staff also are a little cheeky . Bite into raw chip and was shocked ! ??? 🤮go elsewhere .

I really liked the chips with curry and the chips with gravy. Very recommendable. The staff is nice!
