Waterloo Tea in Cardiff

We had a private party at Waterloo Tea, Wyndham Arcade. The chef, Joe was great - offering a number of different options for 3 options on a menu. We spilled out into the arcade, which gave us plenty of room. We had our own playlist playing via Spotify. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. All in all, a great, central spot for a private party!

Based in the Wyndham Arcade, this quaint place was chosen for a surprise afternoon tea hen party. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we had a private upstairs space, a choice of a huge tea (and coffee) menu and then the most delightful cakes, sandwiches, sweet and savoury scones. I would highly recommend and the food was delicious 😋

Gorgeous food! Very friendly staff. Restaurant is spacious and airy with plenty of room for highchairs at the tables.

A very cozy place with a friendly staff and delicious coffee; first time I did a coffee with CBD oil a go and I really loved the taste of it! :) A true hidden gem 💎 Will definitely be back (and hopefully this time the brunch will actually be served!).

Great place to stop by after arriving to Cardiff. Bright and sunny interior combined with mega selection of teas and topped with such discoveries as Cruffins will energise you for a day of sightseeing just right.

Great place to have a warming meal during this cold snap, recommended by my daughter. The teas are really good and served in a large pot so you get plenty, poached eggs are great the porridge was perfect and not to sweet and there was a generous portion of cinnamon toast.Considering it was packed the service was quick and the staff really nice, the food is reasonably priced so will definitely be going again.

Had brunch from here and had an excellent experience. Can easily recommend the coffee, rarebit, and mushrooms on toast. They also have free wi-fi for customers. Will definitely return when I revisit Cardiff.

Visited Cardiff and chose this place for our first mornings breakfast! Absolutely delicious mushrooms with avocado on toast and my partner had a superb spicy beans on toast. Beautiful coffee and hot chocolate also. It was so good the first day we popped back for a coffee and a small pastry the next day before heading home! Also excellent and friendly staff! This is the place to go when visiting Cardiff as it has the whole package!
