Lovely food, but treated as second class. My daughter booked a booth for us. We were on time for our booking but were told that we couldn't have the empty booth because a group of 4 people were due in 15 minutes. It seems if there are only 2 of you, then you are second class. We opted to wait for the " booked booth that wasn't allowed" and we did get one. It was the attitude of not being important and not counting to the hostess/greeter.. not sure how to refer to her. We used to love going there but probably won't again.

Food was nice but the experience wasn't the best as you can only order online so have to order all your dishes at the same time. Very nice though and staff were friendly

Fresh food, amazing flavour and great atmosphere. More quality than quantity but definitely worth it.

I love sushi but it was a it hard work.I've given 5 stars as the food and service was great but the covid measures have somewhat spoilt the experience in my opinion. You can only book online, in advance. No just turning up.Inside, food can only be ordered via the app, on your phone. Then your food comes to you on the belt.No more food just whizzing round on the belts and sort of grabbing what you fancy.Alot of pressure on you if you order a few dishes at once. You get 10 seconds or so to get your food off the belt.Food is fresh and superb.Service was great.Experience wasn't the best for me and my 2 children.

In comparison to other sushi places, Yo! doesn’t offer a vast variety of sushi. In my opinion sushi options offered by Yo is pretty limited. Didn’t like the chicken gyoza, was overly fried. Beef teriyaki and rice was okay but a little too sweet. Desserts are slightly overpriced. Also have to book in advance. If you’re a student you can get a 20% off discount code from Unidays used in-store.

I was rly looking forward to trying their sushi , half of it was very very bland , too much much but it’s not tasty, then you have extra fish on the side which I felt was a waste as it wasn’t put into a sushi and was also not tasty at all, overall I’m disappointed and sad, for almost £10 it’s not worth it for me, was hoping to be become a regular , guess I got to stick to Tesco sushi which has more flavour

Do you like Doritos? After a long day market visit in Cardiff, I was exhausted and hungry but it’s 8pm already. So I decided to buy a takeaway back to hotel for dinner. @yosushi recently launched YO! DORITOS® Onigiri Katsu Krunch which looks interesting so I gave it a try.📍 St David's Shopping Centre, 5 Bridge St, Cardiff CF10 2EFWHAT I GOT🍙YO! DORITOS® Onigiri Katsu Krunch🥟Vegetable & Chicken Gyoza🍗 Japanese Fried ChickenOnigiri is made with rice which formed into triangular shape. @yosushi wrapped the sushi rice with sauteed mushrooms and then coated with Doritos® Chilli Heatwave. It’s topped with spring onion & sushi ginger and served curry sauce. The onigiri was crispy and perfectly matched with the with the rich and thick curry sauce. The onigiri was too big and I couldn’t eat it with chopsticks so it’s a bit messy. If it can be made to a bite size rice ball, it’ll be perfect.By the way, I would like to clarify that KATSU in Japanese means a crispy fried cutlet of meat or seafood made with flaky Japanese panko breadcrumbs. So I will call this dish as YO! DORITOS® Onigiri Krunch with curry sauce. ☺️How’s the gyozas and fried chicken? I’ll have another post on Instagram @ccgyozalover for them🤗

Had an absolute feast - awesome vegan & vegetarian options, friendly staff

Amazing food and love how it all works. Dishes in my opinion are reasonably priced too and quite filling. Good service too.

Met by a very rude manager who was very short with me and thought I was lying about my 10 year old daughter being my daughter and being 10. I even told her I would show a picture of her passport. She was sarcastic and rude! We then sat down for food. Our first dish arrived with no orange powder had to be sent back returned with hardly any powder. Then our tofu tacos were frozen solid couldn't bite into the rice just ice! Asked for another and still no better. We then waited another 15mins for popcorn shrimp. Really disappointed that our favourite place has gone down in standards. Hopefully the manager won't be so rude in the future. And hopefully they will get the yo sushi chefs back.
