Caffi Soar in Merthyr Tydfil

Great venue for fluent and non Welsh speakers, I attend practice with my choir (#Choirs for good) every Thursday at 18:30hrs really enjoyed! Everyone welcome!

Caffè Soar hosts an acoustic jam night, for all abilities on the 1st Tuesday of the month. We'll worth popping along for a jam. Very welcoming and easy going evening for all abilities.

Lovely and cosy. Staff are friendly, and a nice warm welcome

Good food, with vegetarian options. Decent coffee, all at good prices. Inside and outside seating areas. Quite loud inside when busy but outside is covered at least so no rain. Car park just a short walk away, and near to town centre.

Very clean, excellent sevice, friendly staff, plenty of distance between tables. Toilet well maintained.

Absolutely lovely little lunch stop for us. Cafe was clean and tidy throughout. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Had chicken, pesto and mozzarella panini 🤤. Was very nice. Our visit was made all the better by a group of musicians from the theatre who were jamming away. 3 guitarists, 1 violinist and a singer. Excellent music. Was great. Could of stayed there all day 😊

A good cafe with friendly staff. We had fruit cake and it was good. They also serve breakfast (we didn't try, so can't comment on it). The vibe and ambience was nice. Overall, a good place for some cake, coffee or light food.

Place is a lovely little cafe,Coffee is lovely as well...Only thing I have to say was the repeated comments about how many sugars me and my son had....How sweet I like my coffee is not really something that I need to be made to feel ashamed of... and that's how I felt as I was leaving...Apart from that, the place is clean and tidy, There was a lovely little group of musicians just playfully jamming away which made the experience unique as that doesn't happen very much.It is a welsh speaking Cafe, which is lovely to see..

The best cooked breakfast that I've had in a long time and very reasonable price too. I'll be back :-)
