My partner had a steak. It was not good. Chewy and fatty (sirloin) The beef dripping gravy was brilliant. The rest of the food was excellent. The service was quick and friendly..The table for two people are not sufficient and make the experience uncomfortable.

I have already spoken to the manager and it was only his response that saved your company from having a zero.He was professional and understanding. He should be commended but the service was poor the food was BURNT and Tasteless contrasting to an experience my wife and I had at the same restaurant about a month previously. No staff member came around to check if our food was okay, service after finishing the meal was abysmal.Based on this one scenario we would not visit harvester again but overall the two visits plus the professional manner of the manager means we will, just to prove to ourselves one way or another, that this bad experience was a one off.

Kim was very welcoming at the door and seated us. Lois was our waitress, she didn’t keep us waiting long. Very lovely girl. Deven made sure we were okay. Food was delicious as always. Very filling and worth the money.

Lovely meal for my husbands birthday. Staff very friendly & helpful. Didn’t finish all our food, so we’re able to take home. More disabled parking would be helpful. Would love to bring my elderly father but would worry about parking.

Came to Harvester earlier this week and had a fantastic experience. I was welcomed into the restaurant by the team and I was promptly sat at my table. Our server Amber was fantastic! She helped with any questions we had and made great recommendations. I had the Bird, Surf & Turf and the whole meal was lovely. The steak was cooked just the way I asked.Thank you to all the team at Harvester Merthyr!!Will be back again!

Visited on Thursday night with a couple of friends. We walked in and got shown to a table straight away. Our sever Josh was absolutely amazing!! He was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Amy at the salad bar was also lovely and super helpful. The food was so good - will definitely be back!

Came in with the family on a busy Saturday night, the restaurant was clean and tidy with a good atmosphere, we were sat by the manager with curly hair, she was really friendly and talked us through everything (we haven’t been in since the pandemic) we felt really safe with clear social distancing in place. Food was fantastic all four of our meals were great! Thank you for making us feel safe and welcome.

Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The non-cooked breakfast-bar had disappointingly few options (which may have been a stock issue at the time). Additionally, we would have preferred to have been able to serve our own food from this bar, rather than staff toasting the bread etc. The vegetarian cooked breakfast options were good and we were intrigued by guacamole with breakfast, but it seemed to go well.

Always busy, book ahead. Dirty burger stacked with hash brown bacon cheese and 6oz beef with fries it was cooked nicely, tender juicy not dry or burnt. Due to the covid the salad bar is served to you but you can get your own drinks
