Red Spice in Merthyr Tydfil

Omg first time eating from red spice and can honestly say it did not disappoint. We usually have a mango house but wanted to try somewhere different. Their garlic rice was to die for! 😋 amazing food and delivery was right on time. Will definitely be having from there more often 😃

Delivery time awful. If you ring up to query, rude staff just tell you another half hour then offer to cancel your order, even though you’ve been waiting an hour and a half already. Obviously hadn’t starting cooking it so either not fresh or lies. Avoid at all costs. Real shame as raj and Abdul well respected in Merthyr until recent years. Disappointing.

Once again the food was delicious as it was cooked by Raj what a lovely guy he is nothing is to much for him

Just ordered our first delivery from Red Spice, because our regular was closed on a Tuesday...and I'm so glad, because this is by far the best Indian takeaway we've had in a long time. The madras is really spicy, like it should be. Delivery bang on time,too. Delicious food, great service, very impressed, thank you

Excellent food but!!!! The attitude of the cleaning/ supplying guy was indeed pathetic ! He bends and bows before the white customers as a slave and immediately turns in to be a master when dealing with the people of asia! Just confronted him asking who he’s and what he thinks of actions, all of sudden he turned to be a humble sheep. His face turned red when four of us asked three drinks and was scoffing. Just gave a piece of advice at the end😂 he was such meek and humble

Always seems to be very hit and miss at this place, the last time we ordered was earlier this week and it was very much a miss to the point that we won't order from there again.Almost an hour after the stated delivery time we were still waiting and when we tried calling them numerous times to find out where it was they would not answer the calls.When the food finally arrived it was cold and pretty much tasteless to the point where it was wasted.

Ordered at 6:30pm and at 9pm still not arrived. Rang multiple times and no reply. Awful way to treat any customer, let alone a regular. Never again.

The food was the only positive of visiting this restaurant. The staff were slow and rude. There was one staff member that was okay but we were served by around 4 different staff members. The toilets needed updating and maybe some door handles that were not too close to the wall. Overall it was such a shame as food was relatively tasty.

The Red spice is amazing. Celebrate my daughter's 43rd birthday this evening and had an absolutely amazing time.The staff were wonderful and the food oh my God I loved everything.I have now been for a meal at the Red Spice 6 times and and cannot wait for my next experience. So if you want incredible service and wonderful food go to The Red Spice.
