Station Cafe in Merthyr Tydfil

My most favourite cafe to eat. I have been going there since I was around 2 years old. The pasta is just incredible. I keep trying to get the secret recipe. My children also love the pasta there. You can't go to station cafe without having a cheesy pasta and a cheese and onion roll on the side 😋

Visited this cafe today which I found very disappointing, bacon was cold so I sent the plate of food back too have fresh , which the lady brought back it had been warmed up in a microwave it was hard so I asked for a fresh plate , when the food came back for the 3rd time I could tell it had been warmed up again , normally it’s a Lovley breakfast but today I noticed the boss wasn’t around , as the saying goes when the boss is away ,the mice will play , but I will be calling in when he’s around next just too let him know !

Good value and great food that was served quickly. A nice little cafe that I can't believe we had not been to before. Certainly worth a visit if you're in Merthyr Tydfil

This is a very good local cafe for me providing all I need when in town.. very obliging. Well run., very clean. Highly recommended.

After 10 years in the UK (mainly in London) I had to come to Merthyl Tydfil to have the worse British Breakfast ever. / No toilet, although elderly people and kids among the guests. / One star for the friendly staff though (like mostly in Wales).

Great place for a nostalgic visit. Visited the café for the first time in twenty years, this time with my kids. Ordered a ham salad roll and a frothy coffee for me and coke floats for the kids. Wish there were still more places like this around!
