Wonderful staff, so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely choice of food and generous portions. Highly recommended

I always enjoy coming here but this was for my husbands 40th Birthday so we had a meal with 15 people. We did have to pre-order our meals which was a bit annoying as its nice to choose on the day (especially as we didn't know the weather would be so hot and 2 people chose pie and mash in 27 degree weather) but I did understand why and it worked really well. All the meals were correct, hot and really tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak which was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffe pudding and icecream was amazing. I would highly recommend.

The food is very good here as is the service. Despite paying only £9.49 for two meals the quality of thr food is very good,is always well presented and hot.

Restaurant / Pub attached to Premier Inn. Clean and tidy. Outdoor area for dining and children. Unlimited breakfast was just that, menu , food well cooked and reasonable prices . Service quick except on Sunday evening. Seems quiet òn Sunday so fewer staff. Overall very good.

Had a lovely beef dinner and a black Forrest nickerbocker glory .Absolutely stunning and i for one am stuffed

The manager really needs to learn some people skills, extremely arrogant man. Realising they were running short on the correct glasses I politely said he can use the same glass, rather than explain clearly that they couldn’t as they need to change glasses as the same glass can not touch the pump twice he decided to be little and arrogantly say if you don’t like it here then you should got to the crown ( would gladly as they are lovely in the new crown inn) after he continued with his smarmy attitude I tried to make light of the situation to which he replied with I was cut off, first two pints there this year and my last two 👍

Bigger menu now and much better choice. Staff are great. I think table table needs a little revamp to be honest but still a great place to eat with the family

Staff were very polite….but…the meal was probably one of the worst I have ever had. Nothing was cooked from fresh. Ambiance was very poor. On the strength of the main meal, we decided to have our dessert at Macdonald’s up the road. You live and learn. Would never go there again.

Dined here on a Sunday. Wasn't too busy at 12.30 my partner had the Sunday roast which he said was beautiful but only warm not hot. I had the burger which was stunning. Very fast service and reasonably priced. Would definitely come here again.

Good food, good prices and very helpful and polite staff especially Jack. Yes the place needs a little tlc but it’s been a tough two years
