Taj Indian Cuisine in Merthyr Tydfil

Excellent meal. Service was quick and polite. Food arrived hot and timely, meal was very tasty - we ordered a vegetarian bassa and a Biriani to share and there was plenty to eat. Naan was delicious

The truly worst food experience ever dont take my word for it actually go spend the £10 per head at the all you can eat buffet absolutely disgusting poor quality of food only 8 dishes to choose from most of that was vegetarian everything tasted watered down really bland I had to leave a review you must visit to experience how truly awful this buffet is

The only good thing I can say is very quick service,but the meals are not great.

Atmosphere was like a morgue 1.5 hours to receive main meals sadly the worst Indian restaurant I've been to usually owners are all over you to make you feel welcome, here they have to staff 1 who loves to be on his phone and the other 1 trying to do his best

We really enjoyed our meal at Taj restaurant. There was lots of choice on the menu and when the food arrived it was delicious and full of flavour. Our waiter was attentive and provided a great service. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. 5*

Very nice clean restaurant. Staffs are so polite and willing to make food as per our recommended quantity of spices. Pay and display Car park is nearby. Please take note high street is one way traffic.

Oh my word. THE best Indian meal we have had in a very long time. I phoned about vegan options and the staff were so helpful. All vegan food came packed completely seperately. They really went the extra mile for us. Can't wait to go back again.

We had a Taj takeaway tonight after months of not being able to and we realised how much we missed it. Both our meals were absolutely delicious and piping hot.I am a vegan and they are really helpful and accommodating and knowledgeable about ingredients which goes a long way for me. My curry was full of flavour.My boyfriend is a meat eater and he loved his meal too.
