Bean & Bread in Monmouthshire

Absolutely superb! I have only recently discovered this fabulous cafe. It serves, without any doubt,the best coffee that I have had in any establishment locally, or much further afield for that matter! There is also an excellent selection of cakes, which are absolutely delicious. I haven't sampled any of the dishes on the menu yet,but it looks very appealing, and I have no doubt that the food will be of an equally high standard. The atmosphere is superb, and the staff are friendly, polite and courteous. I thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Abergavenny.

Was down in Abergavenny as part of a team of staff looking after some DofE students. Stumbled across Bean and Bread. Really impressed with the atmosphere and decor - very relaxing. Staff very friendly and welcoming and food and drink choices amazing. Really beautifully presented and very tasty - everything just a little bit 'different' in a very clever way. We loved it so much we returned the next day! Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

This lovely cafe is the reason we we went back to Abergavenny only 2 weeks after the first visit!! The staff are all so lovely and their coffee and pastries are so good!! I love the plates they serve too. Everything is amazing there.

Super dog friendly place to visit. Staff friendly,welcoming ,helpful and professional. Delicious food cake and coffee. Highly recommend if in Abergavenny. Thoroughly enjoyed the sweet potato hash, while the others in group ate cheese toasties and remarked there was loads of cheese and mushrooms . Will definitely be returning

I think it’s worth visiting Abergavenny just to stop at this amazing place!The food was utterly delicious, and handed over by incredibly friendly and helpful staff.The atmosphere is great and the place is nicely decorated - it makes the perfect brunch stop with friends.The coffee is delicious and the choice is brilliant.Plus, it’s dog friendly!

Lovely cafe. Food was amazing. The toastie was nice but a bit too intense. Pancakes was really soft and fluffy. Overall a very nice place but a bit busy. Dog friendly. Would come back.

Superb coffee shop, never been disappointed by the drinks and the atmosphere here; it's certainly one of the best in the town. Staff are friendly and attentive, the place itself is clean and very well presented. Highly recommended!

Each dish we have ordered has been outstanding! Many vegan options as well for those who might be lactose intolerant - this is the place to come and enjoy a fabulous meal. Great pastries, too, if your sweet-tooth needs help

An exceptional coffee shop in the most unlikely of places. We were visiting Abergavenny and discovered Bean and Bread by chance and were immediately hooked! Great coffee and incredible cakes. The vibes and comfort of the shop are amazing. They rival any coffee shop in east London. Staff are friendly and the shop is accessible for disabled customers which is always a win!
